I was bored. I just could not get into this character. It
was part the character, and part just other things I'm doing
in RL that takes my time.

First elf, first Fortress, first good align since about six
years ago. I'm no newbie to transmuters but I sure seemed to
suck balls with this one, oh and a lack of wand locations for
awhile, although I did find one new one and was told of another
by another PC with Radia. One thing was my neuro seeming
strangely broken for some time (ie. violent good neuro
lagging for 1 or two rounds) which I never saw happen with
past transmuters.

There were a lot of cool characters, a small handful of not
so cool ones, and so forth. I was so

- Radia

Also played: Runaktla, Kazadan, Ktavialt, Kravidian, et al.

And here's my learning from death/good fortune list for Fortress Elf Transmuters:

Poor, poor low hp! Ohhhh I love me some Scion despoil sometimes, but not having every other enemy spellbane your magic does make up for it, a little.

Pummeling the everliving #### out of enemies well below your rank is still GREAT fun as a Fortress Transmuter (Sorry Elidan, that one time)

You and your friends are attempting to recover the Orb from Empire and an uncaballed, evil assassin strikes you, and is chased away easily. Your friends have left the Imperial Lands to lick their wounds from a Healer and Warrior Imperial, but can probably handle the Imperials with ease upon your return. You yourself are injured. Do you (A) Stick with your friends to make sure they remain unharmed while they rest; (B) Duo, Teleport and rest somewhere else, to return later with greater force; or (C) Duo and sleep 1s 2e of the Vanquisher where the uncaballed assassin that marked you could direct Mr. Healer with Faerie Fog to where your Flat, Duo’d ass is sleeping? Since this made my list, you can probably guess what happened. (Thanks Hendo, Nezlintryzn and the Other Imperials!) (www.qhcf.net/cforum/logs/vpost.pl?78969)

Lower rank. Check! No spells to fight incorporeal phantasmal killers. Check! Resist mental level at unprotected. Check! Ignoring convenient illithid head charm in nearby Hamsah. Check! Okay, time to fight a Scion Bard at the Chasm! (Thanks Edimus!)

Scion Drow Transmuter dying to Goodie Mob while wearing mediocre gear = Happy regearing! Fortress Elf Transmuter dying to Hero Scions and Imperials while wearing mediocre gear = coins taken! (Thanks Veressis, Draktel, Hunsobo, and many others)

Shaman + Warrior = Dispel + Bash (Draktel and Hunsobo, I’m looking at you!)
53813, From what I experienced. Well done. nt

Could definitely tell you were one of the more experienced players in the fort. Sorry about what happened on Bramblefield road, thought you had gotten away. It was always good to see you around. You were such a huge asset in raiding and defending.

Good Luck with your next.
53836, I liked you

You did roleplay with me a good bit and fight some as well.. Though at times it seemed you were really really bitter and would try to take it out on me with replys when I was just trying to twist the conversation a little. Sorry you didn't enjoy your character as much as a drow scion tranny but thems the breaks.

I hate to clutter the boards so I'll just reply to the above here.

Nez: Thanks! You were definitely a pain.

Astinax: One of my favorite forties, seriously.

Veressis: I actually dig playing a goodie because it is harder - at
least for the moment most of the really experienced players are all
playing evils. You're a pain, Draktel is a beast, Hunsobo's a beast,
and there were several others of note who kicked some butt on the
evil team. I liked your style of speech and just general demeanor,
very nice evil RP, but the constant tells about weakness got annoying
at one point, just went a tad too far for my tastes.

53848, Fair enough

Noted, and if I went to far I apologies.
53849, Well,

I got to see very little of you, but you seemed super cautious of me, wording away with aura/shield up that one time, cracked me the hell up.
Anyway, Glad to see Run still playing away even if it is a freakin panzy goodie!
53850, There was probably another reason for that
Posted by Radia on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I don't think I've ever had anything but shield up ever, but
I hardly consider me or any of my past characters pansies. I
think I remember that part, but chances are that if I fled,
it was for another reason. I could think of several off the
top of my head, including fleeing more because of a serious
lack of any chance of killing you + Veressis being around to
rot might cause me to leave very prematurely. There could
have been a million other reasons.

But yeah, good luck with my favorite class/race/cabal combo.

Elf Transmute Buddy!

I loved interacting with Radia, you were one of the characters I was always hoping to see when I logged in. I wished you were about more when I was. Anyhow, congrats on an awesome character and good luck with the next!

p.s Drop us a line if you are interested, I wouldn't mind talking with you.
53857, Sweet! We get to perma!
Posted by Radia on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Yeehaw, lets perma some Orcs! (*)

Glad you liked the char, hell I thought I was kind of boring,
personally. This was a rehash of a char concept I played on
a different mud, an ultra-goodie-two-shoes sorceress, who ain't
looking for glory, just to help out. Big stretch from all my
evil chars. :)

Thanks a bunch for the kind words, neat char Soleric was, like
I said initially looked like chaotic stupid, but that thought
quickly changed to cunning and funny/charismatic.

Anyways, I'd have a hard time contacting "us" since I don't
know who "us" is, but my yahoo messenger is dratsab151 and my
gmail is dratsab151@gmail.com

Or, does us = #dangerroom?

- R

(*) - lol big joke in case you all-omnipotent imms are frothing at
the mouths at this!

Frothing at the mouth, An Immortal bounds for Radia!

kinda funny, whew its late

All the good jokes come out when people are tired. 'Us' is definately not dangerroom, just another example of my bad gramma. I'll have to set up Yahoo Messenger but I will hopefully get in contact with you sometime soon.
