sacrificing equipment is an action that, to me, will always be OOC, because the other option would be just too gay.

Taking your argument of RP in looting/saccing to its logical conclusion, there is always going to be a reason to not return a single thing to your enemies - they are your ENEMIES, and you should not be aiding them by giving them back their things. They'll just use it against you and your cause again.

This means there is even MORE reason to full loot/sac corpses as an evil, because returning anything to fallen cabalmates or enemies would be... nice. And an evil is by definition Not a Nice Guy.

On an OOC side, full looting every kill regardless would be just gay. I think it would destroy a lot of the funstick in playing CF, when you know in every death you take you'll have to spend another 2 hours regearing, getting gold, grabbing potions, etc.

Looting is separate from RP, and in my opinion, should always be.
