Well….what good-byes to say….this has been coming for a long time unfortunately, but honestly, I’m not having any fun. It went for a good while and was a blast, but soon become more like work than fun, and while it involves work, and as much as I really do enjoy writing areas, it just got far to tedious. I found myself playing more and more mortals and less and less immortal so I think this is the best path to take.

As for the staff, we’ve all heard the conspiracy theories of how imms are forced to leave one way or another and fortunately, this isn’t one. There’s normally a lot of complaining aimed towards the staff and I understand being frustrated, but the staff is wonderful. Everyone is human and everyone has their own personality weither you like their forum persona or not. (I Love you valg ;) ) The entire staff was supportive and helpful through everything. As for specific good-byes, send me a reply I may or may not get back to you, but I’ll try. See ya’ll later! And I don’t think Dreaa was as mean as some people said.

That was some good sh*t my man. Dreaa was a total bitch. While
its true Dreaa could have been worse, saying she wasn't that mean
is like saying Hitler wasn't all too bad because he loved his
mother and was a vegetarian. You formed the mental image of an
intimidating, sharp-tongued drowish bitch in my mind who seemed
more hardcore evil than cliche evil.

Heh, actually just graduated not to long ago. Nice havin you around and mongoose is #### and that time I died I was punching my screen very hard :-P Volleyed the necro forget....dodging tons of your blackjacks was kicking ass, then you landed one and for some reason was trusting all, shaman hit an aristae and downhill from there. Was fun, but VERY frustrating loosing such a nice set. Anyways, I won't be in the fields for awhile, focusing on life for a while but I do promise I will be back.

Hey Dreaa. Do you remember interacting way back with Atengsul. My Zurcon following conjurer? I remember thinking back then, that you were pretty cool.

What does it entail to be an IMM? A typical log in session would have you doing what? Is it boring? What didnt you like about it? What did you like? Are followers annoying?

I really would like to do the immortal side for the sphere of magic. I think I could come up with some fun things. I dont know #### about programing or writing code, but I can write cool areas I think, if someone did all the coding.....

Would I even have a chance based on this?

Yep, I remember the conjurer very well actually and thought the interactions were fun.

A typical login varies from day to day, depending on level really. I can only speak from 51 up to 53 when my progress died. 51-52 are more boring than being a provost magistrate sitting in your guild with no outlanders ever logging on and being the only person in range. 53, is kickass in my opinion. I had tons of fun interacting with mortals both as Dreaa and Zebulus, though far more so as Dreaa. Though also some boring times and lots of hard work needed.

What didn't I like...being an imm comes with a lot of responsibility and sensibility, while I enjoy being responsible I (just recently turning 19) still like having fun that wouldn't be all that appropriate as an imm.

What I did like....writing areas/objs/mobs/rooms etc. I loved it. In my own opinion my first area (Mansion of Twilight) north of arkham near Refuge is a great area and had a blast writing it and coming up with the quirks and history. The staff is great and I'll miss the funny times, sitting up there talking to people and just having a blast.

Followers....followers aren't really annoying, but I picked a religion that really wasn't NEARLY as fun as I expected. Had I stayed with Dreaa I think this post wouldn't be here but then again maybe. The religion I think is what did this the most, I had no fun with it at all and I hated seeing prays for me. I enjoyed the aspect of having a religion, just not the religion itself. Mostly, I hate being a goodie and love being evil. Dreaa for example it seems.

A lot of people think becoming an imm is the upmost challenge of the game when its no where close. It is a feat becoming an Imm...but lets hit my character history...

Nothing in there screams awesome in my opinion. Imms aren't looking for the hardcore player so much as the one WILLING and ABLE to help the mud without trying to sabotage it or waste time.

I can't code for ####...wouldn't know where to start, but I was willing to learn things and wrote several areas/items/mobs/quests while the big guys did the heavy work for me. All I can say is give it a shot u may get denied and told to try again, u may not.
I tried my first time as Lemath when I was 17, denied because not far from that specific time most peoples lives get crazy and mine did, but I got through and stuck out immhood. Tried my very next char as Dreaa and proved to them I wanted it and they graciously gave me a shot which I very much enjoyed for the most part. Give it a shot if that's what you want, just be willing to take the good with the bad, because nothing is perfect.

I remember Lemath seemed to shine as more gnomey than other shifters at the time (which I'll admit, even today, doesn't take much!). Other than align politics, its the reason I recommended you for Provost.

And you shined like a jewel that got stuck in one of those bowling ball buffers. You know, really really shiny.

Maybe you can't see the shinyness from the inside, but its pretty apparent from where I'm standing. Good luck in the future and I'm sure we'll meet again. Don't know where, don't know when...

Well, while I did generally say it wasn't for me, I mostly mean it wasn't for me right now. I hope and pray in the future to come and join the staff again permentantly. Right now just far to much on my plate to handle and I'd really like to learn more of the game. Never had a paladin/shaman/healer/druid/thief/orc/ranger/conjurer and that alone made me think I wasn't quite ready to do the imm thing and be a true asset. Right now I want to focus on life, then come back with some more knowledge and then hopefully be a true asset to the staff and playerbase. I was giving players the shaft by not being around very much and I don't think it was really fare. Had I thought up a better religion I think it would be a bit different, but in the long run, ultimately the same. Before I bow out gracefully on this post, I owe you ONE (of the many) biggest thanks for the help in various things. I didn't play while Zebulus was kicking around. Suffice to say, i hated/dug Dreaa as Resty. That's how I'll remember you, and I hope you keep making intriguing chars for the remaining cf populace to enjoy and interact with.

Well in my own opinion Dreaa was much funner to play than Zebulus. A lot funner to torture people when they don't think someone is around and all out give them a hard time for no reason. Zebulus was to 'all knowing and good' to get that going with him. I made some of the sudden appearances with him, but no where near as fun. Well, I'm hoping it's a good way to be remembered and I'll be back with more characters without doubt, it'll just be a lil while till it happens. Heh, yeah that was pretty funny. Thank Amaranthe for the idea, I myself wouldn't of ever done it because I'da figured it a lil to out there for CF, but that just comes to show anything is possible there. If you have the log for the other folks you may wanna post it, give some of them kicks. and almost seem dull. The large hall of the Palace is empty except a large

stone basin in the middle. There are no doors or decorations in this hall just

the single large stone basin. The walls, floor and ceiling are all formed of

the same shimmering thread-like material as that outside of the palace. Several

bright, pulsating dots are easily visible floating just beneath the ceiling.

Constantly moving, these pulsating dots seem to form specific shapes for

several moments and change once again to another, always forming something

different than the last.

Standing inside the massive doors, the shimmering walls look to have calmed

and almost seem dull. The large hall of the Palace is empty except a large

stone basin in the middle. There are no doors or decorations in this hall just

the single large stone basin. The walls, floor and ceiling are all formed of

the same shimmering thread-like material as that outside of the palace. Several

bright, pulsating dots are easily visible floating just beneath the ceiling.

Constantly moving, these pulsating dots seem to form specific shapes for

several moments and change once again to another, always forming something

different than the last.
