Well, guess I still don't have a successful paladin under my belt. This is my first empowered paladin and I didn't do too well. I lost about 20 pk's and didn't win any. I figured when I got sanc and heal I might have a chance, but I still couldn't win. I think I made a mistake in choosing 2-hander, perhaps shield dedicant would have been better for a half-elf. Anyways, thanks to everyone that helped me out. Only thing that really pissed me off was some good aligned assassin that killed me 3 times in one session. Said that killing people for having a red aura is evil. Was hoping to see him get an align change, ah well.

Aarn, it was great getting empowered by you. Sorry to be a disappointment in the pk area. I wanted to go for Maran, but with that many losses I knew I didn't have a chance. I stopped by and gave Kundag a barrel of Ale. Tell him that I'm sorry I won't be able to bring him any more.

Crenton, thanks for the udgardian holy avenger, it was nice for the hour or so that I held onto it. Thanks for all the help with arial guards too.

Naired, I felt kinda bad about not getting you a sandy cloak, but since you are neutral, I couldn't see requesting something from a good mob to give to you.

Well, it was a short life, so didn't interact with many. I know there is a ranger who I talked to and gave me a claymore, but I don't remember your name, I'm terrible like that.

Everyone I interacted with, feel free to post and I will reply.

Tenthislas was raised by a necromancer in the Jualde village by the name of
Antonee. His adoptive father was the only parent he knew. He was found
outside the village in a basket with no note or reason why he was abandoned.
He believes his mother deserted him for being a cross-breed. He guesses that
his mother was an Elf and her people would not abide by a cross-breed.

His adoptive father was a practioner of the dark arts, a necromancer. Nobody
in Jualde village was aware of Antonee's true profession. He deceived them
into believing he was a travelling merchant of great wealth. This explained
his long absences from the village.

Tenthislas was well aware of Antonee's true disposition and didn't agree with
it, but didn't dare to expose him. He knew that their wealth was ill gained
and hated it. His childhood friends never understood why he hated money so
much, they thought perhaps he was planning on joining the Outlanders when he
was old enough to move away from civilization.

When Tenthislas was in his mid-teen years, Antonee was away on one of his
killing sprees. Tenthislas found that he could no longer sit idle while his
father committed unspeakable acts of atrocity. He went to the village elder
and the Captain of the guard. He told them how his father really made his
money, from the corpses of the innocent. He showed them the secret rooms in

their house where Antonee kept his tools of destruction.

Upon Antonee's return, all of the villagers were gathered at the village
square. Around them were stones piled knee high. The villagers pelted the
surprised and vulnerable Antonee until they drove him from the village. The
village elder awarded all of Antonees possessions to Tenthislas with the
exception of those tainted by evil. Those were sent to the Fortress to be
purified or, failing that, destroyed.

Tenthislas grew into a fine strapping young man. Upon his 18th birthday, he
sold his house and donated all his worldly possessions to those in need. He
then travelled to the city of Galadon and was accepted to the guild of
Paladins where made a personal oath to seek out his adoptive father and repay
him for the emotional and physical scars he received as a child.

Thus is the story of how Tenthislas began exploring the vast lands of Thera.
