Well, I'm done with this one. It was a similiar role to one I had tried in the past, and hadn't panned out well this time. Due to the lacking originality, it made it a bit easier to ditch him. Like Noelani, I had wanted this char to "show the masses" that not all Tribunals are jerks, but alas, I lost heart before getting to a position to truly shine. Ah well.. didn't put too much time into him, but am looking forward to coming up with something new and unique.
Now, on to goodbyes.
Tribunal: Onirakoth - I liked you a ton. Everyone said to not piss you off, and you reminded me so much of someone I had interacted with before, that I simply felt comfortable talking to you.. you actually gave me the impression that I reminded you of someone, also. Drop me a line or something.
Noelani - See your thread.
Iufraseu and Arech - I liked both of you and was glad to help with the ranking when I could. You both have alot of potential.. don't get yourself in a "I can never rank" rut, Arech. You'll eventually find someone to jump to hero with.
Brumbalin - Me kin! Love the char man.. you made me think, 'Damn, my roleplay is lame.' whenever I saw you, and you even kind of brought more out of me. Keep on truckin' and think long and hard when picking your second spec. The first one is.. interesting. :P
Didn't interact much with anyone else.. Just try not to let that things get you down. I know it says 'Returning things is optional' and in recent times, it seems almost unheard of.. but maybe you guys can start it off right. Not everyone is an Outlander and not everyone wants you spit in your face.
Battle: I only really interacted with Grarruk and Tuggluk, but you all are what you are. Grarruk, that death in the HTOS was pretty lame (two hits.. ERADS..) though I guess that happens when fighting a thirsting rager unprepped, and while I wasn't looted too much, it still left a fairly sour taste in my mouth.
Outlander: Not all of you are terrible, and some are decently roleplayed, I suppose. Again, I only recently had entered the Hero PK, so not really any problems, save one. Aerik, you are by far the most annoying player I think I've ever interacted with in the 10 years I've been at CF. (Note the 'interacted with'. This has nothing to do with our fights and yes, that included chaotic-stupid gnomes in Entropy) Maybe had I been an imm and been able to read your role, I would have a different opinion, but I seriously doubt it. Have fun, I guess.
Special tribute - Tyrius, Daengorn, and other bards/arcanes. I love you guys. I always have and always will have a special place for grouping with your two classes.
Jukjaij - Read my comments to Aerik. You're number 2 on that list.
Not too much to say about anything else, again, at only 100 hours, I didn't have TOO much interaction, so not much in the complaint/comment department. Feel free to say anything if I forgot you.

36045, Maybe there's too many lowbie Tribunals but..
Posted by Aerik on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I don't remember interacting with you very much. Where did I get enough time in for the "most annoying" award?
Though I'm flattered for the title of "most annoying in 10 years", I try to be obnoxious and rude to Tribunals and dwarves, but it reads like you're annoyed towards me as a player. Why's this now?

Maybe I was having a bad day each time I interacted with you (since I mainly did the retrieving of the Scales for a bit there) and you simply rubbed me wrong on those days, but you carried a tone and aura of 'I'm a ####'.. who knows. If I'm wrong, oh well. Don't take it personally.

It was such a relief in the lowest levels when, after trying to retrieve alone for a long period of time you would log on, group with me, and it would be a piece of cake to kill the huntress. Thanks for your comments about my character, and for helping me rank those times when I knew you could be with a better group. I do need to rank up though, so I can kill Aerik for stealing my name! :) Best of luck with your next...

36050, You bastard!
Posted by Onirakoth on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I really hate it when the non-scrubs delete. I saw lots of potential in you, that's why we got along. I dug the character and the always gung ho "dwarvish" attitude. It is characters like Regnor (granted, there are others) that really make things interesting for a leader. I was just starting to get the pieces in order, damnit! Oh well, best of luck on whatever comes next, I really dug the character. As for the email, don't expect one until Oni is dead and gone :P.

36051, This sucks.

Man, you don't know how much I appreciate the help rankin. I got stuck at 20 for a good while then me and you grabbed whoever else was around and started truckin upward. I kinda chuckled to myself the last time we were rankin and you logged off after only one rank and when you came back on later that night I had went from 39 or 40 to like 45 or 46. I could just picture you bangin your head on the keyboard for leavin that group. I think I went from 38-47 in a 5 hour period including an hour in the middle fighting outlanders. Gonna miss you around the spire, we seem to be lacking a real presence in the hero range.

36054, Allowing others to strike the executioner
Posted by Drahke on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
We didn't really interact, but I was looking forward to having you in range. One particular incident left me a bit curious. I am talking about when you invited two fortress inside the spire to deal with Drahke raiding.
Calling others to aid inside the spire is perfectly fine and good tactics. However, allowing them to strike the executioner seems completely unjustifiable to me. You allowed it to happen several times. How did you justify it?
One thing is to have crime gangs slaughter each other. Another thing is to invite them to duke it out inside police headquarters _harming_ high ranking officers in the process.
Drahke don't care, so I didn't complain about it then, but I sure didn't like it.

36055, Agreed.....txt
Posted by Icthaen on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
From the moment it happened I had a bad taste in my mouth. IC roleplay or not, I try to avoid doing things that make me the player feel like an asshole, and that incident did. After that myself and a few other Fortressites decided we'd let certain people/cabals fight their own battles. Add to that the fact that I got the sense you called me just so you can partake in a 'order all get all corpse'. Anyway, not trying to attack Regnor's character, just an observation on that situation in general.

To be honest, that particular incident was kind of 'Blah' to me. I didn't care one way or another about loot or anything else, I just wanted someone to come and make you leave. I'll admit, afterwards the loot was definately a surprise, but that's NEVER in the forefront of ANY of my characters' minds. (Even the Imperials I've played)

Man, another one gone, I saw you around some, and I think you did a pretty good job. I hate to see Tribs go when they get to Hero range, I get kinda lonely :P
Well good luck with your next one.
