I thought it wasn't going to show. Well, deletion reasons are these. I wasn't happy with hth for an arial, Vanguards Desire is worthless when you are alone, Amaranthe was taking a break for family stuff, so not much in the way of religion progression...that all added up to boredom, and maybe some other stuff played a part too.

As for goodbyes.....I'm not much for goodbyes. Post if you want and I'll reply.

Past chars=Agraemas, Eucarios, Asmorlos, Adraonas, Silonas, Altronas were the only ones that got near hero or did hero.

See you in the fields.

AIM is OneGreasyGrandma, and e-mail is King_David_127@hotmail.com.

Sphere Fertility, get married, have kids, repop thar-eris was basic angle of role.

Aw shoot. I liked Yisoras as you always seemed up for a fight, even if most of them were pretty quickly decided in wether a kotegaeshi landed for me or the impale for you. I think in the first five or so encounters we had I managed to land a crunchy kotegaeshi on you right away making for a quick fight.
I must admit it surprised me to see that Yisoras was a goodie, I was dead sure you were neutral. C'est la vie I guess.

Take care and roll something new, see you in the fields.

Hah, yeah, I liked our fights. Even after my spear fell I had hth for a back up, and tried my best to stick around as long as possible, but we usually fought during raids, so it wasn't just us which made it harder to hang around. Their was one fight, where I had just got attacked by a necro on Prosimian, then by Waeldyn on the ocean, and then by you on the Large Crossroads. Hahaha, well, as you said, c'est la vie. See you in the fields, and hopefully you aren't dead by the time I hero, we could chill with, or kill each other.

33817, Goodbyes
Posted by Yisoras on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I think I was just feeling tired when I wrote the above. Goodbyes are as follows:

Outlanders:

Jaeiin: Best rped char I have ever seen. Don't get me wrong, you made an awesome Outlander, but imho you really were what a Herald should be. Haha, and I liked our half grumpy moods to one another, it was always nice to log in and see Jaeiin was too.

Norkie: Hahahahaha, you made me laugh harder than I think I have ever laughed. Good times with the Grass Juice. Great rp, too bad about the con death. Most memorable moment. We were in the tree, me and Jaeiin were arguing about it being smart to give you alcohol, and then you removed all and ran yelling Woo! Grass Juice! Jaeiin blinked, and I said something like....he is running around naked and drunk, nice one, Jaeiin. Hahah, ahhh good times.

Tjok: We argued a lot it seemed over Scions, but oh well. You made an awesome leader, best I have seen really, and I really enjoyed hunting together.

Farniby: You surprised me. I remember travelling together, and you saying you might want to join Outlanders but you had to spend more time in the wilds. Next time I log in you're an Outlander. We had some awesome fun, and I can understand what its like to start getting bored. Hopefully you are headed back to the fields. :)

Sxozzoh: From what I could tell you kicked some butt, I never interacted with you much, the whole good/evil thing was a bit of a barrier. Give em hell.

Aesrira: Another really well rped Outlander, and a good friend. Really good job, its too bad you didnt get more involved in Amaranthe's religion, but our interactions were still awesome. Really good job, I really liked our chances to travel, and those sparring matches with Tiriundrun.

Dilique: You seemed a little new, but it was really nice to have you around. Having you with me in the shrine to pray helped ease the boredom of no interaction. And I think the first time we went we scored a talk with the Maiden. Hopefully you haven't deleted. Keep on trucking.

Thays: We didn't talk much, you were my first interview and you helped me practice my skills in Emerald. I think it was the brain damage from all those stuns that ended up killing you off. You and Cathoria both seemed....too elite to talk to? I think thats how I want to put it. Heh.

Cathoria: I think the extent of our interactions were, greetings when we logged in, and that one super long conjurer battle on Eastern Road. Biggest thing I noticed about you...you killed a lot of people. It seemed you were constantly reporting our enemies deaths. Truly amazing.

Imperials:

Waeldyn: Lots of good fights, you were really the only Imperial I wanted to hunt. And thats just because our battles were so fun. Haha.

Brelinak: Annoying, thats about all I can say...haha.

Ceiekalak: I never understood how you were death dealing. I liked how our fights weren't super one sided...well until you managed to land sigil of pain on me. I remember a few times I made you quaff...I would have liked to have some more interesting fights, but that sigil just ends it too quickly. Arial hps...

Krackleshah: Had a shouting match in Galadon that I remember. And we also had a battle between you and Denower? Against me and Farniby. Ended up both losing a guy, but it was fun.

Tribunals:

Meorian: You were the only Tribunal that would hunt me actively outside of town. Or it seemed that way anyway. Good fights, and thanks for keeping me on my toes.

Klendalstak: Hmm, I don't think I ever got to one vs one against you. It seemed you always had a bard, or a healer with you. Or I had Jaeiin with me. Too bad...

Salsipuedes: I argued with you a ton. Haha, glad that I got you kicked out of the Spire. :)

Melacarfina: I got you kicked out too, but seems you are back in now. Good times, I liked to raid against you, it was always interesting.

Tribunals in general: I liked fighting with you, and really liked it when I managed to get you booted or demoted. I think I was at 5 demotions, expulsions when I deleted.

Immortals:

Amaranthe: Thanks for getting my inducted, I was waiting forever and to finally be whisked away on a cloud of leaves was pretty awesome. Really wanted to interact more, and learn more about your religion, but seems we had different times or something. Thanks again!

I think that about wraps it up, if I missed you, please say so. Lots of names to remember.

Yisoras Heartsoar

P.S.

Karrel: Hahahahah, I didn't forget you, but made you think I did didn't I? Good rp, good pk skills. I liked working with you, but after our argument in Galadon, it seemed like there was a wall between us. Haha. Well done, and see you around.
33820, Best Rped...? Hmmm.
Posted by Jaeiin on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I'd say there is a difference between good RP and amusing Rp, and its often hard to hit both. I wish I could consider myself doing better RP wise but I'm having so much fun I really don't care :P

From your comment it sounds like you don't remember that quote I told you. There was a talk I had with Shazirah(Your awesome, with a capital AWESOME) where she mentioned the Heralds being like healers in that they provide light-hearted entertainment to liven up peoples morale. The Outlanders seemed to be missing that bit of their lives, partly because they can't enter the Inn (and if you did't have a warrant, you'd get one on the way to it) and partly because a lot of them just can't interact with the Heralds there are. Some are large, silent giant types. Some are large, noisy giant types. Others are Aesrira. But they all have to avoid some of the most populated places in favour for small, quick moving bands. By definition they're outlaws and since I knew there would be some great RPers in there I decided I would fill that hole between over use of the 'giggle' emote and ripping the city apart. Nowadays, I rip the city apart while giggling. Luckily, I'm a drunken elf and so just about anything goes :D

You may also have noticed, that I do have that mark on my wrist. Mrs.Awesome is the light of Jaeiins life, and if she was mortal you'd better believe he'd be trying to get her drunk... or just be humping her leg. Since she's not and it'd be a bit hard to take on Arvam for leg humping rights, he's content with mirroring her in as many ways as he can. Don't be surprised if all her followers come out with at least -some- heraldish tendancies.

Enough about me, anyway... Yisoras Heartsoar. I can safely say it'll be a name I remember for a long time. Can't say I remember any of your other characters, but I liked your playing style. Less 'suicidal' than Norkie (we made a great trio) but definetly good at sticking to your roleplay. I wish I knew more about your religious side but I guess we just flew off into battles and fun most of the time. I am really going to miss Yisoras, and I swear I've sat by myself in the Refuge, no other outlanders on and just said 'Lin-ha, go someplace and please... wake Yisoras up.' or 'Where is Yisoras when you really want him?'.
In fact, thinking about it, that last ones a bit suspect :S

You made Jaeiins life just that bit more brilliant that at some point I have to stick you into my role. Maybe when I begin to feel old, I can weave you into his story. Other than that I think you should have stuck with it, we all miss Amaranthe but she's a hardcore addict and she'll be back. Who knows, if you'd stuck around, she might have had one more reason to pick up a 60 hour mudding week schedule and make all our lives better.

As for your legacies, I think that Vanguards really is perfect if you intend to travel with friends constantly. If you really believe in any kind of honourable combat, you shouldn't pick this. Its meant for those who are leading packs, not solo-killers.

See you in the fields

Jaeiin

Just because your rp was amusing doesn't make it bad. One shining example that just sticks in my head, is when you and Norkie were trying to get that chest of inebriation from Aesrira. In the five minutes we were talking then, I was amazed how much you made me think of a wood-elf. Maybe not the, wild ruthless wood-elf, just more friendly. Haha, but I'm just me. And Arisnus said it well when he said you add 'atmosphere'. I think that's what a good rper does. Adds atmosphere. So don't be modest, you are AWESOME at what you do. Hahaha. And like you said, Vanguards is good for a group. I was alone so often, going where is Norkie, Jaeiin, and Aesrira. And then Karrel would log on, which wasn't any help because he is such a loner. And if you wouldn't mind sending me an e-mail or something, telling me exactly how useful Vanguards was...warcry wise, I'd be thankful. And to tell the truth I did want to get more in depth religion wise...but I couldn't stop comparing myself to you, and it made me a bit more shy rp wise. It was like...well I'm not sure what it was like, but your rp, skills, and knowledge were so good I felt really intimidated. Heh.
33824, Have Grass Juice for Norkie?
Posted by Norkie on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
"Grraass juuicee! Woooo!" "Norkie naked! Woo!" lol. I remember that little escapade in the Tree. I'm with Jaeiin, in that, I just really wanted to have fun and amuse people. I think my rp was amusing more than good. I showed I was a good follower of the crone by all the death I caused (mainly by me dying), but the trio of you, Jaeiin, and me... that was super! Sometimes I'd travel with you or with him separately and it didn't quite feel complete. You were a blast to have around, and when you left and it was just me and the bard, I felt like I lost half my audience.

Also, you could dodge like a ninja monkey! We did some nasty things on that mount, especially with my scepters, your tanking, and jaeiins songs. I think I ranked up from level ?32? up to 44 just with you guys alone on that mount. It was insane. You were a great character and I loved being Laurel to your Hardy.. or.. umm.. Cheney to your Bush.

If you don't want to think you were good rpers fine. Haha, I thought you were though. The whole, quiet reflective rp gets old. It was nice to have you both there to liven everything up. And not all of it was amusing, Jaeiin would do hair tosses and crazy stuff. It was good. But I guess if you want to prove me wrong I can say...umm...maybe its just because every body I have met seemed exactly the same. And by that I am not saying they all rped the same. It doesn't take much for cloud giants act stupid but Norkie acted stupid in a fresh and interesting way. Or in Jaeiin's case, complaining about high elves. And how snobby they are. It was a good experience. Maybe I've just never experienced normal rp, so yours seems amazing. I doubt it, but I could just be the guy who has never seen the ocean before, and then see it for the first time and go Whoa! Heh.
33830, Oh, you are sneaky!

Liked Yisoras, sorry you didn't get all that you wanted out of the character but i liked you a lot. I can't even remember the argument, but hopefully it was completely within Karrel's belief system :) Anyway, wanted you to be the stinkin sunwarden but you up and delete! argh!

oh well, good luck with the next,
Karrel

You and Jaeiin were fighting Granaak and Restraal, I jumped in to help, and it conflicted. Heh. Its cool though. Thanks for the input. :)
33835, You fought well

I always thought you did a fine job, and enjoyed our fights when we had them. As to the death dealing part, well that came long before I was even War Master, so way before Emperor and sigil and all that crap. I actually had the log of it, and many others, but goddamned pop ups and spyware and Sh_T started getting all over my comp from something or another so I reformatted the harddrive(I'm not very patient with that crap) and lost it all. Its always entertaining when people ask about it, demanding it can't be true, because well someone up above obviously felt it was true enough*wry*
Good luck on your next one, see you in the fields
33853, Thanks

I know how that goes. Though I don't log, so I only kind of know how that goes. Haha, thanks for your input.
33877, Farewell, Yisoras Heartsoar, you'll be missed.
Posted by Aesrira on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Ah! Yisoras Heartsoar, What can I say? Loved the last name, loved the character. It was always nice knowing you were flittering about here and there.

In many ways Aesrira looked up to you. You were already an outlander when she was inducted, higher in rank when she first met you, and a fellow seeker of the Coven. All in all, a great combination. I was looking forward to speaking more about the Coven, but I did enjoy our chats about the maiden and the cubs. As for the religion, well as you know, Amaranthe has a lot on her plate right now, so its slow going but thats alright. Did you ever give your "sermon" on the Coven at that Inn event? I wanted to be there but it was a bit too early for me.

It's funny you mention the sparring. I had just learned the form and wanted to see how I would do. If I recall, you two really spanked my tail! Literally! It was fun though.

Good luck in your next! See you in the fields as they say...

Aesrira
33881, Haha

I loved my last name too. I thought it sounded really good. Haha, thanks for the compliment on that. I never did do the sermon thing. Tiriundrun never got back to me with a time. We wanted to set it up as a 2 Coven, 2 Shaz, sermon. If Tiriundrun couldn't come it wouldn't be quite as cool. I really liked having you around, and even though you never said I should be Sunwarden...Or I don't think you did anyway...our interactions motivated me a lot in heading that direction. Thanks.

33882, Well smack my tail! Again!
Posted by Aesrira on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM

Of course I thought you should be SunWarden, and I would have told anyone that asked. You know Aesrira, she's got a big mouth! Jaws and all. Oh, well. I'm guessing the Outlander Imms just have a lot going on right now. It's a shame but you just have ta keep on keeping on... Besides, Tjok is doing a good job keeping up the cabal.

Too bad about the sermon, I would have loved to see a log of it on the History Forum one day.

Posted by Tjok. on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
See ya, Yisoras, and thanks for the fun. I agreed with your opinion regarding Scion in a lot of ways, but the character Tjok was bound by role to proceed down a certain path. Just like Yisoras moved along another. This is why it would have been so freaking great to get a council of three Elders in the cabal. Anyway, I was on vacation the last week(s) - it's kind of a downer to leave when the cabal is in full swing and return to see it enter a rebuilding phase. Fortunately, I'm a Raiders fan so I have some experience with the feeling ;)

Other than that, interesting character, you seemed to have a real bond with the up-and-coming Outlanders and it looked like you guys were strong driving forces behind the cabal. Much fun.
33910, Thanks
