At least with all the tribunals I know gone now, I won't be trying to fight so many invading druids while half-naked!

Hmph...still don't know how I died after he had every spell I could think of on him...oh well...

The beating of fiery wings can be heard over Galadon, as the Great Ki-rin escorts the soul of Kaplanov to the heavens.
The faint image of an ancient, noble dwarf appears above the Spire as well, before all fade from view.

Welp. That was alot of fun. I can honestly say I lived entirely too long. Saw 5 Provosts. Was a Magistrate when Grurk was a Provincial. Really good timing on the death too. I don't need to be CFing it all the time and screw up my final semester.
The other thing about living as long as I did as well, I can't remember half of the people I interacted with. Send me a hollar, and I'll get back to you.

IMMS:
Velk: Loved your interactions. I see now why you shot down Tambar recommending me for Provost. I was bout to die! Heh. Thank you for the Vindicator case item, and the cool echo. Take it easy.

Grurk: I have seen about every side of you there is to see. The Magistrate Grurk, the Provincial Grurk, the Vindicator Grurk, the Tribunal Avatar, the Tribunal Imm, Empire Imm, Happy Grurk, Placid Grurk, and most of all...ANGRY GRURK!

Kor: I figured you were probably Velk. I came to you seeking to learn. And learn I sure did. At one point I considered retiring from Tribunal to serve the forms of Justice we spoke about, but that wasn't Kap's way. I appreciated the time you took to teach me a Dead God's religion. Thanks.
30840, Well....

Kappy was probably my most favorite within the Spire. But yes, you did live entirely too long, but you made one hell of an awesome character. I hope your final semester goes well, and come to back to CF when you get done with it all. Until then, you will be missed. *tear* Like I said, awesome, well played character. Sorry to see you go. But we shall meet in the fields....

Thanks. I was sad to see you betray the Spire. But it's people like you that make the game more interesting. Too bad we never got to scrap. Later

That was actually what I was hinting at in those talks. Would have been interesting if you did, but gotta play the character. Well done by the way.

Heh. Thanks. Yeah. Ole Kap couldn't drop Tribunal. I could have. But he couldn't. Thanks for the info on a Dead God. Hard to get just from his Altar.

Had a couple fun scuffles. Was always excited to go up against you since you were kind of my alter ego as far as class/race/cabal go. One time I was too excited and messed up one of Tjok's snares. Anyway, well played from my view. Think the score was 1-1. Luck with the next.

Yeah. I like fighting other felar staff spear/specs cause the fights last 50+ rounds. Heh. Good scraps.

We had some good spars in the Spire. Good all around Magistrate.

Not sure how many times you chatted with Kor, but one of them
was me.

Good luck with your final semester! ;9

Come back and see us!

Well big time thanks for the Kor talk. I really enjoyed my time with the gruff voice. I was glad when you were no longer an Avatar anymore. You were on so much, and I had this image in my head of you locked up in an AVA room with nothing to do but read stuff, listen to CBs, and be angry.

Nice job, you were around forever, and that makes it doubly impressive that you never screwed up! It's tough not to make mistakes as a Tribunal, but it's also often possible to redeem yourself. You chose the less traveled route of never needing redemption :P

Anyhow, good luck with your semester. Hopefully we'll see you back when you have more time.

Funny you should say that. I always thought to myself that the hardest part of playing Kaplanov was not screwing up. I saw so many tribunals screw up 10 hours into being a Magistrate of Seantryn, and I figured sooner or later my luck had to run up in hundreds of hours. But it didn't and I think thats what made the char so enjoyable. Thank again Velk.

Anyways luck with your next and it was really good to have you around, really did not like you with some other character but guess becouse did not really know you and becouse the time you spent with imperails. Going to miss you. And hope you will be back at some point

You were the only lawman that I was afraid of. Bloody shackles are just too damn mean. You managed to get me once, but I won the other two fights =P Good char and solid foe.

Posted by Kaplanov on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Yup. You were actually one person I did not mind dying to, because I knew afterwards there would be no hard feelings. It was all business between us. And that's the way it should be.
-Kap
30878, I could be wrong and just way off but.
Posted by Agarah on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I inducted you into the Spire right. I seem to recall turning you down in the lower levels, telling you to go out think about the laws and do the whole process again. I saw in you the ability to learn and be a great magistrate. Thats why I gave you a second chance, normally I would have told you to find another path and not to bug me. But at the time of our first talk, you didn't get the theory of the laws, just the text book answers to what was written. IT was sometime before I gave you the second chance I told you I would. believe you heroed, then one of my last acts was to talk to you again, and well look at what it ended up leading to. Great Job, I'm glad what I saw was there, and you brought it out. Best of luck on the final semester, and don't forget to come back to us.

* If I am thinking of the wrong person forget what I wrote other then Great job *

Yup. That is exactally what happened. Kaplanov actually liked Agarah alot, and defended him long after his death for various reasons. Always wished we could have hunted together. Oh well. Take it easy.

Aww... even with sancing the Spirit, you were still massacring and mangling. I kept looking to see if it had fallen, but then it showed the Spirit was already in sanc. You were a fearsome beast and I knew that there was little I could do to stop you from raiding. Kudos. I don't think I ever saw you come out of the city to find me when I was sending Outlanders in with an aura to retrieve. One of the few.

Posted by Kaplanov on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Yeah, front claw extensions sure are nice. heh. As far as not coming to find you; Kaplanov's theory was easy. He knew it was easier to stay central and wait for word of where criminals were, than it was to scour every corner of Thera. And plus, it sure is hard to get guards to kill a healer. Anyhow, good luck with this and the next.

30889, I had ursa major dislike for you.
Posted by Jinroh on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
At least during Jinroh's mortal life, you were the epitomy of the Imperial lackey (TM). You were always at the beckoning call of Empire if I was wanted or not wanted, and always in a massive gang. That always left a bad taste in my mouth.

I guess I never got to see the good parts of Kap, although judging from the other posts, there definitely was one. I hope next character you play an honorbound rager :). Good luck with your next.
30930, RE: I had ursa major dislike for you.
Posted by Kaplanov on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Yeah, I hear ya, I did like using Imperials to my supreme advantage. lol. But what can I say, it was in my best interest to do you as dirty as possible, as frequently as possibly. Oh well. Take it easy.

30890, Thanks for letting me demand what I wanted!
Posted by Optomkiptum on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
You were on very regularly during my patrols, so it was nice to have you chatting about. Also nice to have a warrior to spell up :)

I didn't imagine you'd go this far, but I guess it shows just how persistance can turn into greatness. I wish I knew more about this Kor thing because it sounds hella interesting - i'm sure you earned every bit.

Ah, the good old days though... have to smile upon them with pride. I also remember vaguely how much you died when you first got to hero. Guess you learned from those mistakes too. With the learning curve you have I swear you could do anything you wanted - please make more characters! The imms haven't failed to reward the deserving yet if they just keep it up.

Optomkiptum

PS - Did we ever duel? I seem to remember losing badly to some warrior in the spire despite the fact they were the easiest class for me to beat... hmmmm...
30931, RE: Thanks for letting me demand what I wanted!
Posted by Kaplanov on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I still demand you shouldn't have deleted. To your question, no, I don't think we ever dualed. I don't think I would have wanted to even if you did. Heh. Oh well. Anyway, good luck with whatever is on the stove.

I remember that day we had that talk about Drunsthol, Justice and whatnot, glad to see you went with your plan #2. :D

What I remember most about you was your great attitude, even when getting killed or in hairy situations, you never lost it and kept upbeat.

Good job and hope to see you back.

Thanks. Nice work on AVAing. And I'm glad you noticed Kap's good attitude. I think my next char might be real pissed off. We'll see. Heh. Take it easy.
