Well Hmm where to start? I think I was just out of practice. It has been probably a yr or so since I played cf, i figured id come back and try again since I had some time off. So I rolled something I hadnt played since the affinities were put in. An invoker.. oh boy was that stupid. Needing to learn wands, learn spell practice, all over. The char started slipping as soon as things were supposed to start getting better.

So goodbyes:

Scions: So few of you, there is so little character in the cabal. The RP is non existant, the dialogue is non existant, I guess its kinda obvious why there hasnt been a chancellor in the cabal for such a long time. Not that I added a lot to it, but I wasnt feelin the char once I got drunk and went off on Valg.. hehe. Still a few decent ones out there, although I must say invokers are ####ing hard to roleplay, its so hard to lose yourself in your characters role when you have to spend most of your first 150 hours spaming. Aytak, Corilanth, keep up the good fight?

Maran: Didnt fight very many of you, some assassin thats now gone, that arial warrior, vestalutur...although im glad to see that you guys have cut down on the outside cabal buddy thing. Marans kinda stick with marans for the most part. Oh that dwarf warrior too, you started my PK death spree man, I was doing so damn good before then.

Battle: Merosal was the only one i fought, hard fights but then I got shields and we never fought again. Was lookin forward to those.

Was'nt a stellar character from me, so I don't have much to say. If anyone has any comments about Mons, let me know. I'l gladly field your questions or comments.

Oh one small thing though.. Scion powers.. SCHVEEEET, scion roleplay and political involvement... eh not so schveet. Evil for evils sake is so 2nd age don't you think? Maybe I just needed to hero and really get my fangs into the char. I used to enjoy scions once upon a time. Maybe il give it another go.. maybe not.

Other chars: Isengrim, Cuvatar, Maelnar, Mazaufat.. and well Kadsuane for all you old farts. Hehe

Later peeps

Marans kind of stick with other marans? Says who?

You're talking out your ass here I'm afraid.
29943, I must have read thisdifferently then you

First off, I think it was a compliment. There have been times when retrieving against maran meant retrieving against fortress, warlock, sylvan, battle. That's not so much the case now. Warlocks are gone, Outlanders don't hunt the streambad the way Sylvan did, and Battle only seems to occasionally aid the fortress. Hence the compliment, Marans tend to stick with other marans (rather than bringing in the entire world)
29945, I agree

I read it as a compliment to the Marans. Unfortunately some of the playerbase seems to assume that everything is a criticism even when it isn't.

Damn now who is gonna rank my ass. Traveled with you a few times obviously. Enjoyed Monsavis, and got a kick out of you pretending to not be a Scion to the Imperials we traveled with. Even though I knew damn well otherwise. Good luck with your next baddie.

1) Apples and oranges.

2) You may wish to read the helpfile on AFFINITY if you do not like spamming. If you choose to not use affinity, you lose the right to complain about that.

On your second comment. I did use affinity, i gave up lightning path and had 3 elements with 7 affinity I think. Still not enough, some people jsut arent cut out to play vokers I suppose.

29965, Recycled roles
Posted by Monsavis on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Even english teachers don't nitpick over recycled work. Its my work if I decided it fit into another rp angle and worked it, shouldnt that be my choice? Its not like I used the same role for ever char I played this role was from a character that lvld to 40 and delete some 2 yrs ago. I knew there was some sort of a grudge you were holding. How does this hurt anything game related at all? You guys are really weird sometimes.

29970, Same problem I had with the character in general.
Posted by Valguarnera on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
As you mentioned above, it was a pretty low-effort character. You're capable of more, but this character was just going through the motions. Re-using the exact same role as a previous high-level character is weak.
