Ok, quick delete note. I deleted for roughly three reasons. First and foremost, I didn't have the time to play this character and I didn't see any more time coming up in the next few months. Second, I was getting a bit bored and frustrated with things. Third, the roleplay I had for Diiafd didn't let me do the things I wanted to with the character.

Diiafd was orderly first off and sphere magic second and evil third. I had always wanted to play an invoker as they have the most chance against the mass of goodies who play in the early AM system time (which was consistant for most of my life with the exception of brief moments when Yanacek was around). I think he was originally made to be either Tribunal or Empire, but when the chance to get into Scion popped up, I grabbed it. I don't regret it though as it made for some really nice conflict as Scion (throughout my tenure in it) was dominated by chaotics. There were lots of instances where he had to deal with all his cabal mates hunting Tribs or Imperials and he couldn't aid them openly because he supported order over chaos. He also was not concerned with PKing as that was not required for magic or order. For the most part, if I was going after someone, that was bad roleplay on my part. While Diiafd wouldn't care whether he killed someone or not, the player behind him is reasonably competetive and did care, which is the conflict I refered to above.

Goodbyes:

Immortals: Phaelim, sorry, I just couldn't get into your religion. I guess I have gotten used to being around primarily in the mornings and there aren't a lot of visible Imms on then, so I tend to resign my characters to not being religious or praying. Thanks to whoever gave me my last name, hadn't gotten one of those before. Don't think I ever really saw any other Imms with this character, but as usual thanks for a great game.

Fort Good: For the most part I liked the RP and interactions with my foes. Frankly the paladins I dealt with were worlds above any I have dealt with in the past. I don't think I saw a single case of paladins abandoning groupmates or letting them die. I didn't see much hoarding of eq either and they almost always showed up for a token defense at least. Other goodies, Els, good fights. Lek, always make me nervous (I will post the log of you guys almost getting me). Noone else comes to mind.

Battle: I guess I have played too many ragers to really actively hunt battle with an invoker. Occasionally I did just because it felt right in my RP, but I don't think I put my heart into it. No complaints about any of you and kudos to Jinroh and Iborenn. Also Nimrurl had balls of steel and I felt kind of bad about killing him.

Scions: Only one that comes to mind was Drokk, and he was from a long time ago. The newer ones weren't on when I was around but I wish them good luck.

I will see if I can find some good logs to post.

We conflicted greatly at some things. But when we faught together it was awesome. I especially remember this one time, when first marans raided. Then some villagers came. Then some marans came. We continued to beat them of untill we ran out of mana.. Then it was over.

I was greatly chaotic in my ways, you were greatly orderly.

Yeah, I felt conflicted about Zavin too. As a player I wanted to be out there slaughtering like you were doing, but as an orderly mage, that didn't fit with what I wanted to do with the character. Also, Diiafd didn't like the idea of another invoker in the Chasm as it watered down his own power. I do recall that episode and wish I had logged it. Invokers are a blast.

From my view, if you like to have it.

The first invoker I fought, then Zavin. You knew your spells and had the skills. Seeing that time was a limited resource for you, I can understand how you disappeared suddenly. You were not very aggressive, and I gradually became less worried about seeing you on who pk. You came close to killing me a few times, on of the few who could do so solo.

And very powerful character; you would tool any of us singlehandedly.. Around the time you'd normally log on, the rate of 'who pk's' I normally throw in, peaked; knowing that you'd come after the scepter as soon as you log on, no matter what the odds were. There was actually little we were able to do when you were retrieving. That last raid with you and Laes, I knew I was running to my death, but still, that's what I was supposed to do (defend the Maran that is), so that's what I did, hoping for that one chance in a million.. Something else I liked about you was that you were prepared to talk, now and then. Somewhere I'm glad you're gone, on the other hand somewhat sad because such a worthy enemy has passed.

This is pretty typical of our fights. You were a slippery one who I never could finish off. I don't think I had many logins of less then 30 minutes, but toward the end it was just becoming the big game of capture the flag and I got tired of it.

This has a buggy ending, but it shows me getting really cocky at a slightly lower level. I had to reread the log about ten times to finally figure out what happened. I don't think I had anything for protection except elemental shields.

Just inside the hole the tunnel widens considerably. Though the floor is still
covered in dirt, it is apparent the hole leads into some old stone tunnels.
Tall enough for giants to pass through with comfort, the once-smooth rock walls
are now scraped and chipped. Odd formations are recessed into the stone on
either side of the passage.

Before the Imperial Palace
Light from braziers and lampposts illuminate the square like it was midday.
The roads from the south, east and west converge here to form a great square.
The gates of the Palace lie open to the north. The square itself is made
from the same fused black stone that all of the Imperial roads seem to be
constructed from. However, here the smooth surface of the road has been
deeply etched to show a huge Symbol of the Imperial Codex. At each of the
cardinal directions surrounding the Symbol you see smaller representations
of the individual Sect Symbols. Each of these details pass quickly, for
your eye is almost immediately drawn to the black stone cross rising from
the center of the great Symbol.

I enjoyed fighting you all the time. Liked how you would try to take the orb even when there were 3 of us to defend against 1 of you..good fun. You were quite tough.
