I had things, big things, eeeeeevil (or is it gooood) things planned. For the most part you dealt well with face to face interaction, but kinda forgot that 'gods' are at least partially omnipotent...hence me knowing about the note to Valguarnera. For the record though...I thought you were a well played and decently competent character....even rolled with the Death Marked thing fairly well.

good luck with the next one.
2589, Actually..
Posted by Ralemos (Guest) on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
The note was to all of Scions. I just couldn't let you get the best of me. Rale felt you punked him so couldn't have that. Funny thing was though I had always remembered Fomorius's encounter with you so when I prayed I was always careful on how I worded my prayers. Then the one time I didn't guess who was listening. I had hoped you were listening on the cabal channel after you sent the Maran after me and I said well he was almost as powerful as me after him beating my ass for almost a real time hour.

Actually, I was listening to you when the Tara'bal was beating on you guys....when you made the comment 'he's almost as tough as me'...I was chuckling behind the monitor. As for feeling that Shokai punked you out...*chuckle* go read my post on Gameplay forum :P
2591, I saw you in some fights...
Posted by Curious Youngster (Guest) on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
And it seemed you took a HELL of a beating, how much health did you have with that set of gear that you could not live without? Some of the times you were in armadillo form I think it was, so you were not getting hit hard. Those times I didn't really think much of it, but others I saw you fight as tiger, and you would get smashed by a bunch of hits. I understand as a dark elf you could train your hp a lot, but can armor make that much of a difference too?

1456 I think I'd have to check some logs. Somewhere right around that though.

Can you show us your best suit of gear? I cant imagine having 1400 hp, thats about double what I have.

2595, Well..

I don't have a copy anywhere just go to Dio's and look what was taken from my corpse. Here is what I remember though.

As an elf transmuter, I once had about 1400+ hp, hp gear is not that difficult to obtain once you hero and you're in a competent group, and you have a good combination of forms.

Damn, had fun with you when you were around, hope to run into you again soon in the form of another char.
2598, Gone Again :P

Well I hated this character. I made him so I had someone to pk with after playing Qxorlarran for so long. I hated the role of being an arrogant self-centered deceiving drow. It was the first one I had played in that way in a long time. I promised myself that when I died and lost that set I'd delete. I had some fun moments with the character, but overall I just wasn't getting what I was looknig for out of him. Shokai thanks for the interaction. I wish I had stayed around a little longer to get more out of it. Everyone has to die sometimes though. Archmage who I am guessing was Valguarnera thanks for the Chancellorship I feel I did a pretty shitty job at leading, but ol well someone else can pick up the slack.
Scions
Hejduk- I was close to kicking you out but you seemed to useful.
Bynote- My invoker friend was fun.
Zhetzasis- my loyal healer.
There are definately a few transmuters about to take my spot.
Battle
I enjoyed most of the older villagers
Kraern
Intronan
Iildryst
To the new breed sorry cant get used to you running around with paladins. I guess it serves it's purpose but just seems odd to me.
Nexus No real involvement there.
Scarab same
Warlocks/Marans
All I can say is it's sad. You have a lot of potential, but you don't use it. I don't know how many times I led raids and retrievals that we never should have won.
Johan I liked you character somewhat hated that we never went at each other solo.
Igakaie you were a crazy mofo.
Selfren you seem like a newbie but in that last fight where I died and the few before that you were showing some great improvements.
Warlocks
Karithia was the only one worth mentioning.
Servants
Satinka giving you that book was the only time I real felt I broke character, but I gave it to you for something so I don't know I just knew you die before me.
Well until next time another chapter closed.

Wow, I get done ranting and see my old character show up, being remembered? Didn't get to fight you too much, but I definately preferred fighting Gaenlin over you. Damn I hated that pounce. Other than the character's superiority complex, it was fun though. *chuckle* Hope you have more fun with the next.

What can I say, Karithia hated you. Especially when you tricked Annalena and I, though we new something was up, but if it was a chance to get the book we had to take it. I swore to slay you, but easier said than done. Kinda hard to keep you from running alone, and usually you were with a group or did well enough to strike me first. Well done with this character, and I hope you get another one out there you enjoy.

Was sending me to speak with the Darsylon guard captain when i was WANTED just a way to appease me over complaints you couldn't give a toss about the cabal or was it actually part of the quest you were on?
2607, To clear it up for you
Posted by Ralemos (Guest) on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I liked the cabal if anything I tried to add direction to it. I tried to involve as many people as possible in the quest but most seemed to resist it. I got tired of people too lazy to write a damn note yet expecting instant induction. I wanted to steer the cabal away from being a solely pking cabal. I feel I did that. I'm not an ass in real life and it was hard for me to constantly be one in character. I've never liked kicking people out of cabals especially after the work I knew they put into getting in. If you felt cheated in someway oh well get Chancellor and fix it.

umm what was the answer to my question?

I had great fun running around trying to find you. You were a hard one to defeat that is why I always came back for you. One on One i have to say that you were my most difficult one to defeat. When we were one on one that is. It did not happen often but it was a rush none the less. Thank you, I am sad that i was not there to help at the last. And i finnlay figured out how i could potentially kill you in your forms but we never fought again once i figured that out. *shrug* be well in all your future endevours.

Sorry to forget about you. Your character has a lot of potential if you stick around more often. That plan to kill Annalena I think was one of my better memories with this character. I knew you'd be the man for the job.
2601, Aww
Posted by Johan (Guest) on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
>Johan I liked you character somewhat
>hated that we never went
>at each other solo.

Yeah, I don't think we fought 1vs1 since like I first hero'd. I did fight you in droves in gangs, though - and a couple of the massive ones (of roughly equal numbers) stick out in my mind as particularly adrenaline-rush-like. I'm not so fond of the 1vs1's anyway (especially running a warrior up against a shifter major) - the 6 vs 6's are really where it's at. :)

I'll add that you were very frustrating to fight. Almost every time, you weren't the most "dangerous" person in your group that I had to neutralize (there was always an invoker or healer we had to try to take out first to win it), but your character was invariably the one that "mucked things up/hammered the proverbial final nail in the coffin" if your side ended up on top. I promise if you weren't there in that last one at the Grove, it would have turned much differently. I think that's a tribute to your competence.

My regret is that I didn't interact with your character, much - maybe I'd enjoy Johan more.

The gangbangs arent as fun to me but after I herod and killed a few people everyone was either in a group or logged off. I think the worse thing I did was post my playing hours. Ever notice how quickly odds changed when I was on? I never went into one of those fights without briefing everybody before on what they where to do. I also recognized you as a leader and always instructed they take you out first. :P Hell maaybe next time we'll be on the same side imagine that one.

Man am I happy you are gone, no offense, you were a great character and all, but I just couldn't get away from you ever, damn that tiger, and then we could always expect some fun when you were around for sure, good job, the badguys need more people like you, ballsy and asskicking.

Derexal, the guy who wasted about 4 return potions the hour or so before you died.

2599, Thought you made a decent Chancellor
Posted by Vaustrien (Guest) on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
If anything you may have been a little too soft. But that may
just be the same Valguarnera-like soft where you're too busy
plotting big evil stuff to be a total ass to everyone. Then again
thats what most of us evils have to do is to get along when we're
in a world whose enemies have better powers and generally larger
numbers than us. Gotta be like the Chasm getalong gang in order
to get by under such shitty conditions. (Insert trademark
Sylvans-are-far-too-powerful bitch session here).

Good luck
