Well, that was a fun adventure for the most part.

Summary with this character: I died too many times. I think I was down to 10 con at the end and with one train left if I hit 50 and the possibility of another more from practice conversion. Just didn't feel I wanted to continue with him.

Also, I was terrible in PK situations. The only time I was even close to defeating someone was Lerike once and Mauchelle another time, and the time with Mauchelle was with a healer pretty much spam healing me. I couldn't quite get the hang of the lag on the disruptions to know quite when to whip them out or not, and I've never been patient enough for that sort of thing.

Imms: Good game as always. Quite a good time waster for me when I need it. The only complaint I had about this class was duo dimension. Not the 'where' or 'who' coming out lag being too long, but more about which mobs can detect you. Maybe there's a theme overall on the MUD as to which mobs can see duo and which can't, but it really seems to me that it's left up to the area writer which makes it almost an afterthought (my opinion here) when it comes to setting the mob's attributes. Pretty much if I knew a mob was there by scanning, it was a crap shoot in an area explore area as to whether or not the mob would pull me out, which in most cases meant certain death, whether I had my damage redux spells up or not.

Also, consider making trustcabal defaulted to 'yes' as a neutral or good cabal, and 'no' on evil cabals. As this character I committed two blatent crimes (and one wishwashy crime in accidentally slowing a familiar. While in Market Square, with about three other Tribunals. While a complete accident, it could have been my dumbest moment) in attacking another Tribunal in the city because when I asked them whether or not they trusted me before I used a questionable healing spell on me, they nodded and said yes, and then attacked me anyway once I cast it. Daurwyn previously suggested that it may have been morale, but I'm pretty sure they didn't have it set to yes, and one confirmed it. Now, I don't know whether or not they were newbies or what, but based on one of their conversations, there's no reason they wouldn't have trusted me other than that one OOC switch. Oh well...

Tribunal:

Drunsthol: Very surprised I didn't get kicked. What with my attacks on Tribunals in the city, and my continuation of writing you notes where I'd removed a flag from someone I marked incorrectly, I thought it was going to be any day. Thought your attitude (Of a stickler to the rules and the laws) was very good the few times I'd heard you speak and in your notes to everyone. By the way, I this character was sphere mercy and I was playing in the way that if I heard a yell or spotted a corpse, someone was guilty and I was going to find out who no matter what. I flagged a few people a bit too aggressively, but those were the ones I removed later. Anyone else I flagged I was at least 95% sure they'd done it, or I could prove it. The best was when I had someone tell me that I was using OOC methods for making them wanted, even though I could scroll back in my logs and see them pull the coins off the corpse. I suppose scroll bar is OOC in a way. I just attributed it to the long memory of an elf.

Oblain: Good working with you. Hope the spells helped. You're a strong leader and not afraid to go after anyone one on one. That last time I was out with you, it almost seemed like the Cold War with the Village. Each side just kept pulling out another person until it was something like 5 on 6. And then we just sat there with the fingers on the triggers.

Kelrizza: You'll more than likely make a good leader-type of the cabal, I had a hard time with how this elf would play it up with dark elves, but in your case I tried to stay pretty neutral.

Ashlidry: Damned you and your felar magic resistance. Took forever to spell you up.

Kaareb: Same thing really, though never had to from such a level distance as Ashlidry.

Larsetta: Oblain asked me to talk to you and I just gave you those two questions. BAM, I get three notes back that took me forever to read, but were very good. Loved the dedication.

Miglid: I don't quite see how you can MUD with your connection. I watched you die twice while almost completely immobile.

(I'm missing some others I'm sure)

Criminals:

Lerike: Love what you do, keep it up. It's refreshing to see someone so blatently break the law all the way through their ranks and continue to flaunt it at every moment. Almost got you a few times, but lagged myself out that last one at the High Lord's. Good job there, especially in changing strategies against me mid-fight. The worst was the time in the battlefields. I accidentally came out of duo and knew I'd be in for it, but tried it anyway. The worst part is, I was just given a ring that was -16 save vs. spell and petrification, which I thought would help against the sleep spell. Then you go and land your first one.

Juktar: No hard feelings with that last death. It was the end of a long day where I'd died to some hook horrors in front of the gates of Blingdenstone (in which, as an aside, the worst part is watching the screen when you're in duo lag. I'm sitting there, with two mobs hitting me for MUTILATES and praying for either my 250 hp wimpy to kick in, or my unicorn pendant to go off giving me some flee time. Neither one did. bleh. ), then died to the Fire ogre while trying to get some boots (He was softened, decalcified, slowed: Didn't matter: Four rounds, c 'disrupt organ' ogre, lag lag lag lag I'm dead), then you got me. You continue to be a good rager, and had me cold a couple of times.

Tcatama: I have no idea what made you so mad at the Spire early on in your life, but I could swear there were very few times I saw you where you weren't wanted. I wish you would have let me take you in that time after your raid on the Empire. I could have gotten that one PK with this character. Heh.

Eschkitzko: Improved invis during raiding situations stunk. Keep on trucking.

Others:

Agraemas: I almost created an alias just for you: cast 'occular enhancement' Agraemas

Wayhleth: Good ranking with you those times. We almost grew up completely together, which I found rather fun.

Spelling, terrible as usual. Until the next char...

I didn't really interact with your char too much, as most of the time I was a criminal, but at the same time I didn't want to fight an elf. That time I was raiding Empire, I would have pretty much done everything I could have to avoid attacking you directly.

I really should be playing sphere rage, just because OOC whenever I get into a pk situation with this character, the urge to kill anything that gets in my way is overwhelming =P. When I delete (or con-die most likely as it's going at the moment), I'll get in to why I was a criminal so much.

Anyway, good luck with your next.
22144, I feel you man

Having played a few elf muters in my time, I can say firsthand that walking into duo seeing aggro mobs sucks. OOC, I felt bad for killing you the 2 or 3 times I did because it was so one sided. Man, you need to gear like a mage and prep out your ass if you want to play a muter fighting ragers. Also, duo + sneak is your friend. Anyways, good luck with the next.

I liked you a lot and I'm not sure why.
I didn't deinduct you myself even after the initial mistakes and I'm happy that I did not. You played your part as an elf arcane well enough as far as my judgement is concerned.
I just loved having you by in duo and I caught upto XX (with you either wording me when hurt or trying to when I have insects and getting panicked. I'll miss Gerferas and I hope someone can rise upto to fill that void that is there since you are gone.

I still didn't understand why you had to delete, tribunal is a lot more fun these days than it has been in quite a while, ten con is nothing to worry about...specially since you could stay in duo and wrech havoc.

22166, My favorite death was from you.

I can't remember who it was i was after, but after chasing and chasing him. i finally decided enough was enough. and went to kill him in town. saw you there and figured i would be wanted/killed.
Decided it was worth it. We had a nice conversation there and I thought you did your job well and all but that time respected the laws in your prescence. not because i cared a whit about the laws, just out of deference to you.
well i did that for any lawman i respected. but more often it was you that made me decide to take up a chase another day. or try to get them outside of town.

:) trannies can only pk effectively prepped out the ###, in groups and/or waiting for the other fella to get all nice and 'tenderized' while ranking or something.
