role Your role is: Added Wed Mar 5 23:05:25 2003 at level 51: One star-lit night, two druids sat in the woods, watching the sky. After several hours of silence, the female druid said, 'Do you see that?' and she pointed at the sky. The male druid peered at where his wife pointed, and said, 'Yes! It looks like something is falling! Falling from the sky!" They sat there and watched the tiny grey dot fall towards the earth. Soon they realized it was falling right to them. When it got closer, they noticed it was moving slowly, not simply free-falling from the sky. They stood and with thier arms spread they caught the gift from the sky, and to thier amazement, it was a baby cloud giant. They named him Tavish, and raised him as a son, although in a few short years he was already larger than both of his parents. He lived with them in the forests surrounding the city of galadon. He befriended a wild bear, whom he called Tag. Tavish and Tag became best of friends, and because of his love of bears, the two druids gave Tavish a second name, Gentle-Bear. Tavish often ran the woods, howling at the moon, with the wind blowing through his wild blue hair. He loved the wilds, as they are all he knew. And he did not want to know well the cities, as he saw that they were bad. He could not stand the thought of cutting down a tree, or harming a stream to build a road, or a building. His 'parents' taught him to love nature, and to keep the balance of the wilds in his heart. Tavish's father taught him of the storms. He learned how fierce storms clear away old growth, to make room for the new, and how there is a calm that always comes, before the worst of storms. He taught him that the air carries more scents than anything else, and that if you train you nose to pick up scents on the air, you can smell as well as a dog. His mother taught him to care for flowers, and all plants, to love them, as much as the creatures of the wild, as both are a part of the balance of nature. And while his father taught him to fight like a bear, his mother taught him the gentleness of the bear. Tavish knew he was different from his mother and father, but he didn't think much of it throughout his childhood. When he came of age, Tavish set off into the world, to become a ranger, and to protect the wilderness that he loved so much. He left his parents, and began the long journey of life.
Added Wed Mar 5 23:22:58 2003 at level 51: Tavish had many adventures in his life, and he became a powerful warrior of the woods. He met the pack, and began to run with them. He faught many harsh battles, and crossed many trecherous pathes, but all in all, his journey made him stronger. Upon reaching the pinacle of his guild, Tavish set out for the tiny cottage, where his mother and father had lived many years ago when he had left them. As he approached the front door, a friendly, and very old face peered through the window at the massive giant. 'Tavish!', a voice from inside exclaimed. "oh, I am so happy to see you, my son!". Tavish's mother opened the door. She leaned heavily on a walking staff, and her face was pale. She was dreadfully skinny. Tavish sat in the tiny cottage, for hours talking to his mother, telling her what he saw and learned on his journey. She smiled and listened intently the whole time. Finally, Tavish asked about his father; his mother's face darkened, and she began to cry. Tavish comforted her and she explained that his father had died comfortably and painlessly in his sleep two years ago, his last wish was for Tavish to know the truth of where he came from. Tavish listened carefully to the story his mother told him. She told him he had fallen from the skies into her arms, and he had brought with him a great storm, for it rained for 15 days without cease after Tavish came to the earth. She said he was the Storm Child, and that made him smile... Tavish gathered roots and a bit of meat, some mushrooms, and vegetables from the forest, and made a stew for supper. His mother sleeping in bed, Tavish lay down outside, stareing at the sky. A slight breeze passed by, and he fell into a deep sleep. The next morning, Tavish awoke feeling better than he had for a while; he had drempt of a wild storm that was tearing through the city of galadon, ripping up cobblestones and knocking over houses. It was a pleasant dream, to the giant. Tavish found his mother had passed on in the night, and although he was saddened that she was gone, he was glad he could see her before she was gone. He burried her in the woods, and mourned her for five days. Tavish remembered how his mother told him he had fallen from the sky, and that he was the Storm Child, He smiled to himself, and looked at the sky, he smelt the air, all was well in the woods, and he planned to keep it that way.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. I really liked Tavish as a character, and trust me, the newbie thing didn't show to me. You held yourself well as a Warder and were always one of the first to go and defend/attack if you were asked. Well, good luck with the next and all. Well done.

Damn! I really loved this character. I didn't interact with you much. But it always made me feel better when I saw your name pop up. Sorry about earlier today. We'll get them next time.

I'll try to keep this short and sweet:
Sylvans:
Griimbing: You turkey! It was always fun talking with you, or kicking some defilers ass with you. You were a good captain. That time me and you and Blachmianan(sp?) defended against Straklaw, Thornarcrull, Zekasiq and that shifter was great, amazing even.
Gillasn: Lil Brothah! Gillasn was Tavish's best bud, we did so much together, and kicked so much ass! Gillasn was always there when Tavish needed him.
Starkad: Hey! You made a good captain, but Tavish always saw you as a hard ass, down and dirty, defiler killing shaman(which you were pretty much). He was always glad to see you though, keep the wolves in line eh?
Dacheal: 'There's Ghuljun, lets go look in udgaard!' Dacheal, you and I were a pretty good team. I remember when you got inducted, and then you level up really fast and make lieutenant! Tavish always liked fighting at your side, and he respected you for sure.
Cardial: When Tavish was younger you were old, you were always good to have around. All that whispering was cool. Good Char.
Other Sylvans: I love the sylvan cabal, and all of you are great. I'm sure I left out many of you, reply here and I'll say a word or two about you if you want.
Enemeys!:
Thornarcrull: You bastard! I have to say, you were always the biggest pain in my ass! I faught you more than anyone else, and I think I lost about 3 con from trying to kill you alone. That says something about the player behind the char, good job.
Sakard: Well, one on one you kicked my ass every time. I think I got you twice, but it was never one on one. If I logged on and saw you I always tried to be extra careful. Good job.
Ghuljun: well...I never killed you, but I made you recall a few times. Liches are tough, very tough.
Jamain: Well, for a while you were my most respected enemey, but after the treaty, we just tried not to get in each others way I think. The fox is so annoying!
Jesrelres: We faught plenty of times, but if it was ever one on one, you would just use your magic to hold me, while your guards did all the work. You were one of the reasons Tavish decided to never enter cities again.
Other Enemeys: I had many, if you want me to comment, go ahead and post something.
Tavish was my first hero, and I don't know if it showed or not, but I'm pretty sure it did. I think I did fairly well, got a last name, did a couple Imm quests. Tavish was by far my best char ever, I enjoyed him so much, but towards the end I just decided it was time for something new. Farewell to all of his friends and enemeys, it was fun. See you all in the fields, got a new char on the backburner, something totally different!

Well thanks! I do my best! If I'd get you out and pink...it'd be easier to fight you. Withered...well you'd have a harder time. Another lost for the Sylvans....bleh!
As for the first hero...it did not show that much...but then I did not speak to you that much at all.
Good luck for your next! **TEAMEVIL**

17011, Tavish...? *scratch helm*
Posted by Gillasn on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Tavish? Who was Tavish?
Heh. Yeah you were like Gillasn's best of friend and I always had fun with you. But what got me down is the period when you didnt show up for ages. That kinda put a bummer into Gillasn's life.
Damnit....dont go something totally different I mean I like sylvan, you like sylvan, some other people like sylvans, so lets ALL be sylvans *cheer self*
sigh
Thats never really gonna happen. But its still a really fun cabal to be in and I almost always had fun, specially with you.

Forgot me, though we didn't travel much towards the end we started out together. Ranked up together for awhile then grew apart when you joined Sylvan. Always considered you a friend and good luck with the next.

How could I forget! We did well together at the beginning, and I always considered you my friend. Every time I needed help you would come, and everytime you needed help, I did the same. I hope you do well, thanks for the good times!

I really liked Tavish and his 'street-punk' speech pathern. Brothah! Starkad was very happy when you decided to return more , because it was right in the middle of a very hard time with alot of death. Thanks, and good luck on your next character.

17028, Just started to know you

I really liked you, and when at the lower ranks, I could look up to you to stand by all the others when we were being raided. And now you go and delete just as I am entering hero ranges? Oh well, from what I saw you had a good character, and I am going to miss not being able to hunt with you any more.

Sorry about deleting, but I think it was time. Tavish always liked having you around, even if things always seemed to get a bit messy when we traveled. Maybe I should have stuck it out to the very end, but I think having a char for so long my roleplay was starting to falter. We had good times and bad times, but it was all fun. Live well, lil brothah!

Very nice for the first hero. Seems you know lands well enough, but you never spoken to me (I do not recall any interraction with you), despite that I tried to speak with you some times.
And, I always knew 'Tavish... damn. A lot of pain again!' ;)
