Stuff to say later, for now here's the desc, skills, and last fight.
If an Imm would not mind, I would like to know my total pkwins and pklosses. Thanks.

The High Altar of the Great Temple
Here at the heart of the Great Temple, a wide circular dais mirrors the
sweeping curves of the dome of colored glass high above. Large enough to
hold a hundred or so of the devoted around its perimeter, five coal pits form
a glowing ring around the altar to the desert city's pantheon of deities,
separating the blessed from the profane. Large urns of smoked glass and
darkened iron serve as receptacles for donations to the Temple and the city's
unfortunate. To the north and south a few steps lead down to the lowest
floor of the Temple.

Only in your worst nightmare have you ever even considered such ugliness to
exist. A mere glance at this somehow living apparition defies all sense of
beauty or light in the world. Open sores running with pus, bones broken so
many times as to make the face appear to be the playground of children's clay
and a demonic mind governing it all.

And yet you see no shame in the eyes of the trollish beast. You see no self-
doubt or hatred. Strangely, through the filth and horror of the disgusting
face you see pride. Determination. Strength. Though you do not know what lies
behind these things. And with such a cataclysmic visage you likely do not
feel much drive to ask and find out.

The body at least is covered with clothing, hiding what is probably an equall
twisted and vilesome contortion. The hands though are tough and leathery,
a bit clawed from years of holding a hilt or haft of some weapon. The booted
feet are large, and a bit lopsided, and upon closer inspection you notice
that the heels are not the same size. One is clearly specially built to
accomodate a defect.

A nightmarish vision, and by looking you can tell that
Igthriloth, a male duergar, is writhing in agony.

Looks like a lot of wasted practice time, was it? Reason I say so, neither axe nore flail/whip need you to perfect all weapons for them to work. I would suggest next time, to either get to hero then delete, or wield a shield against those damn shifters. Anyway, Well played and Ill look forward toward your next char.

16912, It seems to me you gave up too easily.
Posted by Sakard on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I did not know you much but all I saw was a lowbie killer (Even if you claimed you were not.) You went to kill left and right so in Sakard's mind, you were that. If a God tells you something, it's the mortal's word to try and change his mind, to prove him wrong (Like trying to do better) I am sure you could have worked it out. As for the gear...You should not worry about it too much since it's just that, gear. It's not gear that make the char.
16903, I did not delete for equ, sheesh.
Posted by Igthriloth on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I posted the last fight because it was just that, my last fight. I did not delete because of that. If any of you accusing me of that had actually known me, you'd know otherwise. I lost a better set just days before. As usual I just regeared and moved on and got the set you saw looted here. Mostly by pk'ing. Ask Dacheal.

No, I deleted for other reasons not at all having to do with equ. The goal of the character got thrown away by the relevant imm who said, "You are worthless to me" and "You are not what you claim to be" and stuff like that. So, since it took 130 hours to get to first talk to that imm, and then 30 hours later have it all gone, I didn't see much of a future to the character. The death posted above just sealed the deal.

As an aside, those who in fact did know me will know that I never full looted. Not once. In fact the most I took from anyone that I remember was three or four things. Normally I do full loot but this character had to be "civilized" and so he didn't really loot. Well, he took all the coins. Had to pay for palace reconstruction, you know.

Originally I knew I would go Empire, but I also wanted a bit of lowlevel fun. Why not have fun playing with the strengths of the character? So I did a lot of killin in the '20s and '30s. Many accused me of just being a lowbie killer, but that was not the case. I think I did just as well (almost) at the 40s as I did in the 20s. And I didn't just kill anyone and everyone. I made friends with most tribunals (orderly and civilized, just on too small a scale) and most mages (future groupmates). Anyway...

Navarro - very cool. I have no doubts I'll see Kingpin next to your name, if that's what you want. I always looked for you first when I logged on.

*snip baseless accusations of rule breaking*- Moderator

Sobeklestren - always tried to stay out of the fight between you and Adrirakith, and then you two patched it up and made friends so it worked out well. Thanks for the info re: you know what. Not that it was ever there when I checked. :P

Wakachacha - I don't think I've seen a gnome fight as well as you. I wish we'd dueled, would have been interesting. Though deathblow is the big equalizer. You can have a rager down to writhing and then they smack you with a deathblow and end it all. Oh well. You seem a bit new to being a villager - I ate roots while levelling with you, the cloud giant wore a black pendant while levelling with you, and you said nothing - but as time wore on you seemed to get better at it. Good luck.

Shaingze and Sharanze or something like that - two of you felar warriors with names starting with S: I think I switched you both when talking to the felar I fought recently in hamsah. The maran type one I think I killed two or three times, but we would talk a bit after that and it was interesting, so good job there. The evil one was mad at me for luring her to the Inn so Uhlath could try to assassinate her. I didn't mind you coming to try and kill me but after I sent you packing twice, I thought your trash talk to me was just, well, silly. I am sorry for having confused you with the other one though.

Uhlath - saw you a lot early on but not so much later on. Interesting character, seems like solid roleplay. I look forward to reading your logs one day.

Dacheal - it's a tough matchup for you when an axe spec is using iron weapons, but i had my own weapon vuln, wrath, and you just chose not to exploit it from the start. We fought two or three times and you died, as you said, but I dont see that you had to go get three other people to try and kill me with you. When I escaped and spoke to you and you replied that you could not kill me and needed people, I lost a lot of respect for you. There were _a lot_ of things you could have done to win, such as not letting me start with pincer, or offhand disarming me, or flurrying with wrathing swords (I know you said you don't flurry, you'll have to explain that to me one day) or any number of other things. But going out and getting three others to help you seemed, well, beneath you. Sorry.

Jamain - weird, but fun. Not sure what we thought of eachother, but seems we pretty much helped eachother when something came up and we'd ask. Was a bit annoyed that you just took that magistrate's side the time I was wrongly flagged. But I guess if he lied to you as well then you couldn't know. I was glad when he got the boot 20 mins later.

Sure I'm forgetting several. Post and I'll make up for it I guess.

Couple of things, Dacheal is played to be down to earth. He sees someone he can't beat and they are a defiler, his Sylvan insticts kick in and he doesn't care a wits end on how many people it takes to kill the defiler, only that they die. Play a Sylvan, you'll know the feeling. About flurry, I've never had much luck with it, maybe 2 or 3 hits, five max. And third, I couldn't ever catch you with my skills to where I could keep you from weaponbreaking, and that was the problem. In combat I was harder to touch until the breaks. You did well and I hope that maybe your "respect" can somewhat be made a little better with this reply, but if not, oh well, it's a game. Well done, good fighting. Oh, just to let you know, I play the game for fun, not to spend all my hours practicing. That's why I don't offhand, etc.

Deleting over being looted is a poor choice that you're free to make.

Deleting over being looted and posting a log of it in a vain attempt at OOC revenge is not a choice that, in my opinion, you are free to make.

Don't ruin a character by immaturity in deletion.

met ya once, you showed me where the black roots were! heh, I was dying to know where those were for the longest time...but I think I forgot by now :-P too many things on my mind.

Ah well, never really interacted with you beyond that one time. Out of curiousity why didn't you flee in that fight? I mean there was no way you were gonna win that and I don't think I saw you get lagged. and yeah you lost a nice set...but who hasn't? It sucks yeah but to delete a quality char over it? bah...

Anyway nice job with whatever you did and hope you come back strong on the next one...(try a shifter, don't need all them axes and nice shinies) lol

Trash talk? HAH! How many people wouldn't take that loot? Deleting over equipment is pathetic.

You knew what you were doing. But my abiding memory of you will be spamming spit Jhanderin at least a dozen times. That's not roleplay, it's just disrespectful to the player behind Jhanderin's character. In the end, just another griefer killer who deletes after he loses his equipment.
