Another necromancer finished. Waskes was made only to win a bet; Waigerits said I couldn’t even make it to 25 with a drow necro. Well when I hit 25 I decided I liked Waskes and the role I thought up for him and decided to play on. He made it to spectre in around 100 hours with full con and three trains and I decided my role was worth trying to lich. Guess it wasn’t meant to be. The reason I write this note is actually to get some feedback on the lich-thingy. I roleplayed consistently and spend 150 hours as a spectre before I decided what the #####. From there on it went downhill and deletion was imminent. Now my question is, as always, why didn’t I get a quest?
Oh, and Drokalanatym, did you ever read my role?

For a while it appeared that the folks running Lichquests just up and disappeared and left the Spectres hanging. I started filling in some again and ran a few of them, but I have to say I don't think I ever saw you (I know I never saw a pray about the Lichquest). Apparently my CF mail was fubar for a while (I thought it was working again, but Qxorlarran says it isn't); I'm hoping you didn't send an e-mail about it and I just never got it! :o Definitely, if you think you're logging in and trying to Lich at times inverse to the questing Imms, send an e-mail to make sure we notice. I'm sorry to hear you got missed.

1488, Lich quest

Guess it's just plain bad luck being in europe time wise. I send an note to imms as well as an email to imms about my wish. Anyhow, I enjoy necromancers a lot until around 40 where zombies starts to be a must unless you wish to pwk people. Somehow I think creating zombies should be changed a bit, perhaps make it easyer or less time on them. The last 100 hours or so I basicaly didn't make zombies, just isnt worth the time when you play a couple of hours. I tried to get the quest from another place than arboria and wondered for some time if that was the reason I didn't get an answer, but decided you people would like a change and that wasn't the cause.
Anyhow, thanks for the reply, perhaps I should make my next necromancer scarab.

1489, Interesting

I had an Idea for a necromancer that I wanted to try once I thought I knew enough to actually rank one to 47 and keep in role. I was going to ask around the time I played it (no clue when that will happen) if it would just be futile to try to get a quest from a different area (I have the area in mind, and it is based on the ethos, religion, and role of the char). I would be interested in any sort of answer to the amount of futility such an attempt would contain.
"Would it help to confuse it if we ran away some more?"

1490, slight problem there

your praying to the gods ooc to get the attention of the lichemaker mob, the lichemaker is in a certain location so if your praying from another location it is more than likely that all the mob would do is either tell you to come to him(ie he'd heard you were looking for him or some such) or just not hear it.

Well played and good luck on your next char! Was good to have you as a foe, and I enjoyed the talks about Drok.
