Rahs, these are so flushed out and fit together beautifully. I truly hope to read a book of yours someday.
------------- Ansellus Ollineau
Race: Half-Drow
Gender: Male
Class: Any Battlerager Class
Ethos/Align: Neutral, any ethos
Cabal: BATTLE
Sphere: Victory
Religion: Daphedee
Role Guidelines: You grew up somewhere, obviously, but you don’t have much recollection of where. How strange.
You seem to recall some kind of a curse or magical phenomenon, but your memory becomes fuzzy at this point. You are pretty sure this is how you became disfigured and lost your memory.
Everything seems all right now, though. (You can make up all sorts of memories and stories for this character, but none of them really seem complete to you.)
You lived at a small orphanage run out of a private home in Seantryn Modan called Ardenwood Manor. It was an old place with expensive things that you were not allowed to touch and cots for maybe fifteen children. You spent much of your childhood there growing up, but your memories of the place are scattered and hazy.
The earliest memory you have is of watching your lover, Ehrlon, being led away from a burnt-out building in Seantryn Modan. You don’t recall where he went. Or where you went for that matter. Your next memory was of looking down into a puddle and seeing your severely disfigured face.
You are a scorned lover at heart. You feel furious that your beautiful face has been ruined. You believe your lover, Ehrlon, may have done it himself or, at the very least, that he left you because of it. You thought he was the one, and now you harbor an intense hatred for all lovers.
Motivations: You want to haunt your ex, and anyone who mocks your face. In addition, you blame magic for leaving you so scarred and stealing your memories. You’ve decided to fill that void with hatred for magic and those who practice it, like your ex.
Description Guidelines: Beautiful hair and eyes, but strange burns on your face that are both lumpy with scar tissue and always wet, sticky and oozy.
Quirks: You brush your hair - sometimes absent-mindedly, sometimes furiously, when you get nervous or agitated.
THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS ON EMBELLISHMENT ON THIS ROLE. This means you can add details about your background, etc. as much as you’d like, so long as it remains just a little bit fuzzy.

I really liked everything I saw of you. I just wish I would've seen more of it.
I think Ansellus had one of the more tragic backstories in the challenge, and I really wish I could've seen it come out more along the way. Sucks that your major connections disappeared though, so I don't blame you.

I enjoyed dealing with you as well. Ansellus' attitude of umbrand went from welcoming, to wary, to suspicious, and wrapped up again with grattitude.
It was a bad combination of circumstances - work becoming way more busy for me than expected during my normal playtimes, my main foil and then imm leaving (though i did a terrible job of following Daph - I really didn't connect with that side of ansellus, so that's on me).
But I really enjoyed the char challenge and would be up for another if given another chance.
Interacted the most with you, Gandrettia and Veldren. Thanks to all and to Rahs for the interesting and unique experience.
