We didnt interact much, but a Trib being able to carry on with an Outlander is kinda cool. You were one of my favorite Sunwardens. Congratulations on age death, Im working on it myself. See you in the fields. GLWYN.

What an incredibly fun, and moving, ride. Thanks to everyone who was part of it in whatever way. This was a comeback character that was never really supposed to be a main focus, but Emnon's challenge was too damn good not to get sucked into. I had been gone for about five years before Cexonza and had only been back a couple months when the character challenge came around. I remember specifically telling Emnon when I sent my "application" that I already had another character and wouldn't take this one very seriously. WRONG.

Between being a born again newb (e.g. I forgot to use protection potions, even though I always had them in my bag, for most of C's life.)and having being given a character who I initially had trouble find a "center" for, the first 100 hours were pretty hard. I caught three mob deaths at the same level somewhere in the mid twenties and almost bahleted, hehe. Luckily I'm a big fan of Outlander and was comfortable with shifter.

But it wasn't the mechanics that made breathed life into C, it was the story and the people in it. The current crop of Imms and current playerbase is really good. The character challenge was phenomenal. (Even though a bunch of you suckers bailed early!) I interacted with a LOT of people over 600 hours, and it was almost universally positive.

My memory is not the best, so there are going to be lots of names I don't remember. This doesn't mean I didn't think you were cool.

Emnon - Wow wow wow wow wow. Incredible all around, but especially the interactions. Hands down some of the spookiest #### I've ever experienced in CF. Thanks for everything. I hope you see this, and hope CF sees you back around sometime in the future in some form.

Daph - You're the best! Thanks for all the hand-holding and pushes in the right direction. I hope I was a decent follower/priest whatever, as there would be times even late in life that I wasn't really sure. You're interaction game is so strong, and I think you do a lot more one the edges for the IC content of the game than most people realize, so thanks. (small p.s.: I've only fully realized in the last day how closely parts of C's life tracked parts of Daph's. I'm sorry if this made my arc somewhat redundant for you, and I hope it wasn't too boring. Imitation as flattery, and all that. ;p)

Gaspare - Perfectly wickedly creepy and weird. The level of depth and detail you can weave into what you do is very impressive. Your followers are often some of the most interesting characters in the game, and I think that's partially to your credit. Thanks (I guess) in the early days for making Sel a basket-case, and thanks in the late days for picking up the slack and helping finish my story. Also thanks for the echos at the end (assuming they were you), they were masterful.

Ergush - I really appreciate you putting energy into a character that wasn't a follower of yours. I hope I wasn't too much of a pain in your ass, and thanks for not kicking C out. She really wanted to die an Outlander, but she knew she was walking a very thin line in making deals with devils.

Aylosi - You were a great antagonist, and you had a lot of influence on young C. I thought there was a lot of super cool potential in your religion, so I was sad to see it go. Hope you're still kicking around the fields.

Rahs - Even though we never "really" met, you had a lot of tangental influence. You did some really cool "puppetry" interactions, and your followers were some of C's biggest influences. Like Gaspare, the quality of your followers reflects well on you, I think. Also, your character challenge story was AWESOME, and I'm glad I got to be involved.

Mortals: Everyone C knew is dead for the most part, so I maybe already posted on your death thread. I'll keep this short, but please feel free to respond if we had good (or bad) times together.

Sel - What to even say? You made this character more than anyone else. You were the Clyde to my Bonny, the Harry to my Lloyd, the Chong to my Cheech. I was really impressed with how well you could sense where I was going with something and respond perfectly inappropriately. lol. Thanks, again.

Admund - My late life bestie! You were such a cool, deep, well fleshed out character. I had a lot of fun with you, and we did a few pretty cool things too, I think. Admund was crucial part of C's finale even if you may not have thought so, so thanks for that.

Aurew - Big sis! What an amazing character, I'm glad I got to be involved. You were C's mentor/big sis/shoulder to cry on when she was young and lost, and she never forgot you. Can't say enough what an awesome character you were.

Mae - We were around each other a lot, but only partially really got to know each other. I wonder if that was't intentional on your (character's) part. Either way, you're a cool character and a good Sunwarden. Tree seems to be doing really well under you, kudos.

Gruntner - My favorite dwarf (and I still didn't like you that much!). Really well played, I feel like you did a great job with the "Yeah we don't really like each other but we need to work together" vibe, and after Sel died C had a real soft spot for you.

Theo - Much the same as Grutner as far as quality level, but we decidedly could not work together once things heated up, and that was a really interesting dynamic to me.

Laurandt - What a cool little deal we had going on. Thanks for being part of that and going outside the box. I hope you didn't feel used.

Nuble - Good times. I'm sure I interacted with like 42 of your other characters, too, but I liked Nuble and we had fun.

Shaapa - I like your chars. Sekpek is the one that comes to mind immediately, but I know there were others I scrapped with along the way. People complain about you because you're relentless and good at it. You're hyperdrive nature can be overwhelming and funkilling sometimes for particular builds, but overall I think you're good for the game and I enjoy getting my teeth kicked in by whatever you're currently playing. :)

SO many awesome people I'm not getting to but I want to but I'm out of time for now. Maybe I'll supplement later if I can.

This game is awesome, there's nothing else like it. I hope I did my little part to make things more fun and/or interesting for the rest of you, because I sure as hell had a blast. Thanks to everyone who keeps this going, and I hope I can find some time to get back in the fields sooner rather than later.

I just want to echo what I said on Discord. Cex was an amazing character and her roleplay and emotes was top tier. Few people in the game push me to make my own roleplay better and I thank you for that. I can't wait to see your next character. Thanks for the memories.
139501, Congrats

Great character. Good job on seeing it through. You definitely added a layer of fun/rp for me that most did not.

GLWYN.

It really was a pleasure. I had a ton of fun with Sel, and it was such a neat opportunity to continue that story long after he was gone. I loved that Cexonza's relationship with Gaspare changed so dramatically (over a very, very long period of time). It was such a terrific evolution. Cexonza was super-memorable for me, and I'm glad you had so much fun.

Hope to see you back soon.
139512, Congratulations for such an awesome character.

You nailed every expectation I had of Cexonza and made a memorable
impact to challenge and the game at a whole. I remember the email
and you saying nothing serious.. I like a challenge myself and I
rolled the dice to pull you in another direction and give you a
chance to make your footprint in CF lore. I think it was a success
for both of us. I never had it planned to do a character challenge
and I logged into immland one morning, like many mornings and into
the afternoon, I would see abysmal numbers. That particular day I
was just me and I think Daph logged in and that was it. It just felt
CF was in bad shape and needed a spark to draw some player excitement
to help the game out. So I went to work... I created a lot of unique
characters, and probably too many now that I look back at it, since
half burned out quick. But it was a learning experiment and a quality
endeavor that kept the CF lifeline going. Numbers raised and you and
the other participants should all be proud to have contributed in
that success. The open end of the challenge with the Collector was
definitely intended. I had begun to map out two more challenges so
to basically make it a trilogy.

The interactions I had with "Cex" :) was phenomenal and tried to
always catch you at an unsuspecting time or just something so
subtle that you knew it was me. It was great how things lined up
and Emnon was able to get what he wanted from you that he couldn't
from Daph. If anyone looks at Mizor's log, basically I took her
away and skinned her alive for her pelt. And began wearing it
afterwards.

My goal there at the end was to entice you with a way of being
reunited with Sel once again forever. Forever being the key word.
If you took the bait I was going to wait until you age died and
write up mobs of both you and Sel in a room in my shrine. The
dastardly part being that you both would be shackled opposite of
each other for eternity to never embrace.

I'm glad you had fun and thank you again...

Ergush is sad to see Cexonza go.

Cex was great. Good for the tree, good for activity, good for mixing it up and getting action out of people. I could not have asked for a better character to be in Outlander.

Did Cex do a few things that were questionable/bad for an Outlander to do.... yeah probably. I should have probably made a formal decision on those items, but I missed it, and I didn't make a judgement. For me, Cex was a constant presence (at least till it got nearer to the end), and one that inspired other Outlanders to be active and do things. That is a net positive in my eyes.

Thanks for being there, and giving the game a solid character to interact with!

I said it in my goodbye thread and I said it on Discord, but it sure bears saying it again: Cexonza was one of the best characters I have ever seen in CF. It was an experience one could never have enough of. Great job, and thank you for the memories.

Admund really liked and admired Cexonza. He saw her as one of the most beautiful things he had seen, and the most beautiful thing about her was her love for Sel. It was pure and honest. He was also convinced that everything had to reach for a balance (as wise as the Moon and all that), and after such a selfless act Cexonza did for saving the world, she was entitled to some selfishness. There wasn't a thing he wouldn't have done to help you find Sel, and somewhere he is smiling that childish smile of his for Cexonza finally finding him.

Roll something new, even as a throwaway. You make the game a better place and every play session a fond memory.
139544, Such a perfect end to our tragedy.

But it seems that is the blessing of all good love stories. You were the source of all the good Sel ever tried to do and seems in the end he was the source of your sins.

Within an orgy of violence a shade of a man stares blankly in front of him. Contemplative and bored as he seems to assess an invisible object. Twitching uncomfortably he turns his head as his expression becomes more lively. A wry smile graces his face as he says "Welcome Home."

I've said more than once just how great Cexonza was and I wish I could of made Sel last longer but age death is always a hard stop for a character.

You changed Sel fundamentally as my originally idea was to find turn evil and join the reavers but that was impossible the moment he met you. Reading the role entries put z lot in perspective and now it shows how much Cex changed over time too. Well done.

Take a bow.

You were fun to watch and never shied away from trying to figure out what made your enemies tick. Your path, intentional or otherwise, was a lot like Daph's, (and bad for your health). We had a lot in common, and I think that made for a good fit. Congrats on a wild ride of a character!

139495, Good one!

One of my most favorite enemies and outlanders, with great RP and always fun to fight/talk with. Well done, classy character, who (almost) always was ready for a good fight, or a good chat!

PS: Bliss will be there with you, so don't be afraid, you won't be alone! :)

GLWYN!

A rickety boat slides up along the bank of the river Acheron, and a slick, furless fela steps off and surrenders to a group of waiting devils.

The devils lead their silent captive down through four Circles of horrors to the river Styx, where a group of feral shades gnash and claw and beat one another in an orgy of violence all along the banks.

Cexonza scans the area wildly, looking for a familiar soul.

She freezes and her feline lips curl into a half-realized smile, her eyes widening with joy - or perhaps horror - and flooding with what will surely be an endless stream of tears.
