Bummer - thanks for being part of that rad xp session yesterday at least.
136601, Why does everyone act like this is a character-killing thing?

By all accounts, Elithranduil was pretty successful.

I also killed a fellow Squire early on in the characters life. It added a dimension to the role, and it came up multiple times IC (thanks Emnon and Morius), but it certainly didn't make the character any less successful than before. It actually made him MORE interesting to play (and probably to interact with, from some perspectives).

My previous Maran (Tamhas) also had a goodie NPC kill. Again, by all accounts a successful character anyways, and that certainly didn't hold me back from anything.

Just play it the way your character would (whatever that means), and have fun with it.
136602, See I had the opposite happen with Posatalis.

I'm little burned out with characters currently. I'm likely going to take a break for a bit and try to come back with something that is fun.
136604, You know I loved Posatalis.

But I'm really tired of you being upset about being
uninducted. Honestly, the only reason you were uninducted is
because you seemed to legitimately want to be uninducted.

Your entire character arc seemed to be you turning your back
from your Outlander history, you being stalked in your dreams
by the bobcat (which I took to be an omen that you were on the
wrong path), and you repeatedly ignoring the advice/guidance
of Fort leadership. From everything I could tell IC, this was
the direction your character was intentionally going - and I
honestly thought it was cool as hell, and very well RP'd.

Hell, the first thing you said after you killed the guard in
Arkham was this:

[FORTRESS] Posatalis: Marshall please remove me from the
Fortress.
[FORTRESS] Posatalis: I cannot be a squire anymore.

That was before you even told me what happened. I figured it
was coming, you were just looking for an excuse to pull the
trigger.

So let's not pretend like this was some arbitrary and overly
strict rule that caused you to get inducted. It was me trying
to go along with your own roleplay and what I could only
reasonably assume was what you, as a player, wanted to happen.

136606, I'm not mad.

Just have been going with rather hard characters recently and
didn't want this character going down that path. I just wanted
an easy non pk character. I realize I jumped the gun with
deleting but it just as I said shows me I need a break for a
bit...I do this before I quit for like 3 months then come back
with a character that doesn't make my skin crawl to play.

Yes that was due to IC stop that is still there. I was told I
would be uninducted so might as well just get it over with.
I'm not mad I just don't feel like doing that character arc
right now...and this character would of taken more work than I
was willing to put in. I didn't want to waste other people's
time. That is it. I have no urge to waste anyones time with me
not being willing to put the extra work in right now.
136600, Killed a goodie due to a typo again...after 15 hours.../endcharacter.

136603, Are you effing serious?

You had some great RP, and some interesting experiences already under your character's belt. I understand the feeling that there's an ax hanging over your head after a slip-up, but I really wish you would have stuck it out.
136607, Sorry :( I'm be back when I get the urge to play.

This is on me...just didn't realize how burnt out I was until I got that goodie kill. I'll be back after a month or two or once that character thing starts. I just feel if I continued I'd end up wasting other people's time on a character I'm not sure I wanted to play.
