I can directly connect a good three to fouur con points I lost to your antics, you were like a big bitchy child. Anytime I ever traveled with you as soon as you died I shoudl have known to find some new friends. You always took it to that next level to try and gain back what you lost, ranking or hunting. You fought hard and you died young...wow you must have spent some con *snicker*.
Anyways, you made the game interesting and I enjoyed watching you put the fear into players. I always liked your title too, though we both know you didn't do jack to deserve it. Well I'll be seeng you around, later.

" In the fields of oppertunity its harvest time again" N.Y.

I aint the smartest piece of ##### but I knew you were the most lethal of the others and you played the role of a fire giant, A pain in the ass. Was fun when you were around, I knew I had something to do.

Your ability to roleplay different types of characters is evident. I knew Kraern and Rhuean with other incarnations. Both were markedley different than Trekalsh. I had no idea you would have been rhuean too. Well played, for the time I did spend with you.

Yeah, yeah, it's me again. Decided I'd had enough of the defender villager. As always, trying to push the limits, Darmok was remarkably close on his hunches, but totally off the mark. I was never a Scion lackey, but I had no objections to Scions if they were useful to me. Not sure where I'll end up next in the cabal wars, but finals are next week, then I go home for roughly a month, so the timing works out anyways. But, on to the farewells;

Battle:
Vihltar - I'll definately keep watch for you in the future, I was very selective for a reason, and you fit the bill.

Guenrayn - Solid fighter, you make a good backbone for others to rely upon.

Rustanviel - Damned old, snippity bastard. Quit siding with that damned elf.

Frohatlan - No hard feelings towards you. Everything was roleplay. I think you fit well in the "Valarath" category..you seem new, but it's noticable, and I hope you do well. Trekalsh, however...yeah, he's harsh.

Gholrhun, Drahk, Ksoec, Zhentyril, all the other ragers...seems a good crew. Keep it up.

Scions: Had some fun playing deceptions, especially with Jalim...then it fell into the old school having fun killing and being killed. We fought, we hated, it's all good.

Nexus: For some reason, I really have little respect for most of you. Half of you would run instantly, and like today...when you were feeling brave, it'd be these nice big gangs who'd do nothing but raid until they got to kill people. Few exceptions, Yhorian...well, I can't remember any others...if you want, bitch, and I might remember.

Warlocks: These were some good fights. Have I mentioned I hate invokers? Remind me to be a scout for once. By the way, I hate Marans. That raid earlier today was cool #####, sorry about all the looting, but half the village was half-armed at the start of the raid. *grumble* DAMN I hate invokers.

Marans: Look up above, I hate Marans...*glare Alnallander*

Everyone else: Was fun. Sorry about some of those four-hit kills, even without deathblows. Also, so everyone knows, I was about level 35 before I ever picked being a berserker. I never even perfected deathblow. Take THAT, cabal power whiners!

Immortals: DAMN IT! Why is it every time people talk about giving me cool questy stuff, I die? Bah!

Kahosarin: I'm curious how much you watched me, and whether I had a decent grasp on your religion. Sometimes it seems hard to really roleplay some of it, as it's very much a personal thing for the character sometimes, and not something they show to others. That, and big dragons who might chomp me for not doing things right tend to intimidate me, and with Trekalsh's attitude, I never wanted to approach when things were going poorly, but only when Trekalsh could show how great and mighty he was. I'd really appreciate your opinion, if you find time.

If I forget people, give a shout-out. Otherwise...I'll be back soon enough.

Trekalsh the Gut-Cutter, Foe to Titans
Othloir the Avenger of the Righteous
Rhuean the Insightful Tactician, Drillmaster of Battle
Janroth, Kraern, etc, etc...

Heh, killed me twice unpreppared...and each time it went ugly...at the chasm when I never expected you and on eastern when my sanctuary fell....I need to do something about that. Anyway, perhaps it was you I did fucked around day with wither...oh yea I think I killed you with rot once too.

Go evil next time...not rager, not warlock, just Scion....we need it.
13046, It was fun...

We fought a few times, I dont think our times overlapped as much as most of the other ragers. Take care, and good luck on the finals.

13045, Story to the Title
Posted by Taithin on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
At one point, Palamo, Nabokov, and Grishnak (gnome entropy invoker, and two hunted cloud giant warriors) were running around, and Thror gets on over the cabal channel and says he wants Nabokov's hide at the shrine. So my group and I...Rustanviel, and another warrior I think, go out looking for them. We hear they're at Kiadana (invoker in mountains...ewww), but Trekalsh being the way he was, made up a little plan, and ran out to try and kill them anyways. Quick fight, and Palamo and Grishnak flee near dead, while I kill Nabokov, poncho his corpse, and we head back to the village. I say over the cabal channel that I've got his hide, and I end up with the tital. As far as the title's relevance...I actually was using swords at the time, though most of the time I favored axes (hence, Gut-Cutter), but my favorite swords to use were always the two-handed black swords. A pair of wrathing weapons, that made my legacy (trapping beneath thunder) kick in, as a sword spec...well, most cloud giants got hurt lots by that. Hence the Foe to Titans part. Hit an 80k hole twice at that level, then quit bothering trying to level til I was near con-dead, then tried making a quick run at it, didn't get too far :P
13043, What? No mention of me?
Posted by Aldon on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I gained 7 ranks with you, every single one was while you were rank 45, it was fun...you were a good character, entertaining and scary from what I saw of the flurries you did while we ranked.

I also remember trying to gang Othloir one time...I was lagging bad so I spammed cranial 113 times (rough estimate) and you had champion's stand up. My group was not happy, chuckle.

Anyway, it was fun, too bad we didn't get to finish our game. Good luck in the future.

You were fun to rank up with to 35. Always something witty to say, and always plotting and acting deceptive like. I really enjoyed our interactions as Jalim, especially the one where I assassinated you over the water. :P Silly applicant, truesight is for ragers! Heh, and the times above the chasm where we were just kind of talking and catching up on 'old times' after I just killed your groupmates. Oh well, like I said, enjoyed it.

Well played, I remember reading your role and thinking, 'that's gonna be pretty hard for him to pull off', but I never caught you doing anything shady - always were IC, doing your thing.

Have a good break, and we'll see you when you get back.

Posted by Taithin on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
That's probably my biggest regret to the char, that I really didn't push the shadiness far enough. I had a few things I wanted to try that weren't specifically "wrong", but would have likely sparked some serious debate in the village. Problem was, Darmok got all suspicious over the wrong things, but it still ended up with a note from the Commander to you three Imms, IC, saying "watch him". This put Trekalsh on a pretty serious defensive. Then, of course, when you're ambitious and feel you should lead the village, but can't make the Rites...that always sucks too. Oh well.

I remember many good battles at your side. I always liked seeing you around because i knew you were like me. I knew i could count on you to take risks at times. It is no surprise to me that you played someone as notable as Rhuaen.

grats, luck with the next,
Guen
13034, See ya soon I hope.

Good fighting ya Trek. You always put up a hell of a fight you did get me in the end. I wished I had made an efort to roleplay a bit more than we managed. See you in the fields soon.

Well played...
You had a role that was very abrasive to Rustanviel's personality.
For some reason, you bothered him. I started out trying to stick up for you when you and Darmok would argue, but you just got so damned annoying that I couldn't stick up for you any more.
Good luck with your next character....
Here is a little log that really made me laugh at the time.... completely from memory.

Rustanviel: Tell him that if he can convince the Destructor to give it up, he can have it.

Trekalsh: No. I still wouldn't give it to him, even if the Destructor gave it to me.

Rustanviel: Erm... That was what we in the educated circles like to call a jest, or a joke.

Overall, well-played character. You did some things that Rhuean shows through in, but other times, I was just wondering "Why the hell would he go and do that? Is he trying to get killed?" AKA, the famous Warlock Tower Raid, where we were resting up, and you went in by yourself, then yelled at us over cabal for not being there.
13032, My little log didn't post right... here is the first line of it
Posted by Rustanviel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Trekalsh: Warlock says this is our last chance to return the Grimmoire, or else.

Well I did beat you and the thief alone right after the thief attacked me out of form. I would think that would qualify for more than just running instantly. Maybe I'm wrong. ;)

What, no mention?

I knew you were going to be good to have around from that first time I talked with you about why you wanted into the Village. Your debating with Darmok was sometimes distracting... but your role was interesting, and you were tough as hell. You'll be missed big time.

I knew there was something fishy about you!

The loyalty side of you was always questionable, but your fighting ability was never in doubt. Knowing who else you were now explains that. Always skilled.

Good job at being the deceptive big asshole type. (And I mean that in a good way. Not being facetious.)

I'm sure I'll see you soon.

Aaaargh, i knew it was someone i liked before. I enjoyed both Othloir and Rhuean with my other chars. And this time i fought beside you up to rank 35 with an insane assassin i later stopped playing.
It was never a boring moment. I logged on, received a tall: "Where are you?" and then we were off slaughtering any in your way. Good times.
