Thank you players and most of all imms. I have been sick since april 4th, the medicine they gave me was messing with my thinking and mood. I just finished xrays of my chest yesterday, even more medicine and getting a lot of bloodwork. Being sick and this medicine is why i started acting different and deleted. Thanks again and send good thoughts about this not being something bad or cancer.( im at the dr waiting for bloodwork now, ha!)
127970, Hey good luck with medication ~

I was a HUGE fan of pre-empowerment Mournagr and very impressed by how you were pulling off kills while not dying yourself during that period. I understand how frustration can build over time though and that there were other factors involved. Kudos on accomplishing as much as you did.

I completely understand bailing on the Baerinika route when you realized you'd chosen a dormant religion, but after that you really dug yourself in deep by essentially treating your character's role and RP like a wine tasting.

Nobody wanted to touch you because everyone knew that if they waited 24 hours you would have changed your mind and tried something else. Don't get me wrong, I understand your frustration and anxiousness, but at the end of the day Mournagr was just too "all over the map" and non-committal to anything to be bothered with.

As for the whole turning evil thing, I'll note that there really isn't room in CF for an evil Paladin. An "evil Paladin" is just a Paladin who failed and doesn't have any supplications, and that's a non-accomplishment anyone can achieve by simply behaving badly with a Paladin for long enough. What you wanted, as I understand it, was to quit being a Paladin and instead be a completely functional (read: rewarded) evil character instead. That, on the other hand, is whole other ball of wax, as they say.

All that aside, it seemed like you genuinely enjoyed Mournagr for at least a good portion of his life (and I enjoyed watching him during his early Fort days), and that's the point. So good luck with your next and all that jazz.

It took a while for Zerliae to start slipping into evil. It all evolved through RP with other players and the like. He spent a bit as neutral, too.

I don't know too much about your case, but they would not let me stay a paladin, and that sort of destroyed my whole character concept.
127953, I was rooting for you.

I really enjoyed our interactions, and IC Luth was obviously trying to keep you walking that narrow path that the Maran tread as well as protect you from Jormyr's negative influences. OOC I was actually very excited with your turning evil/ the white-cloak inquisition good. That looked to be a fun evolution. Which is also why I think you got the nod on the role contest. I had hoped you would stick it out, but it is understandable having to deal with the serious limitations that having an align change will do to you.

GLWYN,

Luth

What to say really? I was rooting for you towards the end there. I fielded the "can I turn evil" pray. I tried to explain a few things (constructive criticism follows):

1) Going from good to evil takes time and character progression RP-wise.
2) Going to evil really isn't easy.
3) Getting power back AFTER an align change is even harder.
4) The whole thing takes consistent RP.

All in all it takes a long time. A character recently drop align and get some juice back but it took them about 100-150 hours, and that probably another 200+ hours evolving from one alignment tier to the next. Conceivably the align drop could be tackled faster but yeah.

Anyway, I felt bad that your patron dropped off the radar and that things were tough. I suspect you were highly frustrated towards the end of the character as the RP became a lot less consistent.

I hope you aren't too jaded with this experience and if not, maybe you can give the align drop some serious time and planning in future.

Either way, good luck with whatever follows next and all the best going forward. Sorry it didn't work out.
