122625, Jorgung's Final Death

Wasteland 2's addictive properties MANGLES Jorgung!
Jorgung is DEAD!!

He was fun for a while. Loner, didn't talk much, mostly just tried to PK Outlander enemies without sitting around the Fortress. Tough to seal a kill with no burst damage, no maledictions, and no lagging capability. Snare helped some, but I've definitely played more deathly rangers.

Ah well.

122626, What expertise/terrain ranger type were you? n/t

122632, Explorer/Forest.

I had bearcharge, but never bothered to enlarge (since it takes you out of creep) and rarely fought someone in the wilds anyways.
122634, Just curious, why not mountaineer/explorer for the bearcharge love?
Posted by WildGirl on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Meaning I'm not really seeing what the benefit of being a forester/explorer would be since there aren't forester skills to trigger/use in other terrains.
122636, I wasn't really going for a power combo of any sort

...not an exciting answer, but there it is.

Definitely better choices for PK power as a ranger. Lots of folks have shown that. :)

I have Wasteland 2 waiting in the wings. Will get to it eventually once my CF adrenaline dies down.

I must have finished Wasteland 1 over ten times.

WL2 crashes too much on my old decrepit laptop. Unplayable.
122648, Any chance you'll throw up some logs?

I still am a great fan of all your characters and enjoy your logs. Jorgung was tough, one of my few charges gathered with tkrurg

Thanks for the kind words. I've put a few logs up, but I don't have many of Jorgung on this machine (and usually not much time/inclination when I'm around the other machine).

I'll try to dig up some more Jorgung ones to post, though.
