120565, I had a lot of fun.

It was quite a trip. I wanted to make a human outie pincer spec, because I did one a few years ago, and it was fun. I had a role in my head but didn't put it in for a few months - I just couldn't get it to paper, so to speak, but it did influence how Ghrandang acted.

My work and social schedules these days are really hectic, so I think this char lived a lot longer in RL time than the 230 hours reflect. I'd have a week or so where I didn't log on, but I could usually pick him back up with no issues.

I had really good experiences with almost everyone. I generally looted what I needed and tried to leave replacements, and I was only really fulled a few times. Sure, its annoying when your prep chest get's taken, but I think this char really helped me learn to roll with the punches of getting wiped clean. It's very easy for me to regear and be competitive within an hour or so - an axe spec warrior is lucky in that regard.

I wasn't thrilled with all my selections - h2h just did not complement Axe for my play style at all. Vital + whirl was not enough to str drop anyone, nor did it provide bleeding. Crushing blow was reliable enough, but I found I just did not hit hard enough for it to be effective on the majority of people I couldn't pincer (prepped folks underwater, or invokers. So if I had it to do over again, I think I would've gotten more usage of literally every other spec. But the silver lining there is that I got really comfortable with Axe, and I think I used it pretty darned well. Even with the edge overhead doesn't seem to lag on opening much, but it was fun.

Surrounding simply did not fire as much as I thought it would (and I don't mean on open roads or anything), so I would've chosen a different 2nd legacy for sure. Ward was great - I loved it with axe and I'd take it again.

On to the goodbyes: (sorry if I forget folks)
Outlander:
Everyone here was really pleasant to work with. You had different levels of "in char speech" so to speak - ie, whether I got a sense of char from your RP, but everyone maintained enough of a level to make it enjoyable.

Foedett - you literally had me cracking up half the time we talked. I enjoyed our induction interview, I had fun working with you, and I'm glad you were there at the end.

Azzael - you were a good healer, and always made it fun when we were around because we could mix it up.

Hughli - you were a straight up beast in combat and game knowledge. I couldn't tell you one thing about who Hughli was as a person, but you were always pleasant, helpful and a good ally, so you improved my game experience.

Yegrut - really solid char, and great to be around. Sorry I didn't see you much at the end.

Yarzath...ranger - We didn't talk much, but you looked really competent.

Sivane - competent vokers are a huge boon to outie (not that they need it much, the cabal is pretty strong rightnow), and you look like you have a lot of PK promise in you - good job.

Scarab:
You all were so much fun to fight against and RP with. Hands down the highest RP level of any cabal I interacted with (which makes sense, given scarab).

Quarissa, you steamrolled me a bunch with your beastmode devils and familiar, but I always enjoyed knowing that if I got lucky I could kill you, and did manage to pay you back a few times.

Thombury, I'm sorry you deleted. You looked like you could be the next big thing, undead wise. Your RP was stellar (loved your backstory btw), and I hope to interact with your chars again.

Zhenyen, as I mentioned when you died I think this was a fantastic char, one to be really proud of. Bantering with you was great - you really did almost have Ghrandang tempted.

Tribs:
Vree, you always kept it interesting. I almost raged out the first time you dropped the hard loot + prep loot on me, as I thought you were intentionally trying to troll me by saying things like "Wow, looks like you're time is almost there, with all that (paraphrase) con gear in your chest. Step aside and let the youth take over". And yeah, it was a real pain in the ass to have to reget preps and stuff that is hard to gather (quest gear, etc). But you know what? I thought it actually made for a great super-villain vibe. I tried to be respectful back whenever I got you (I think twice). So I get that looting and stuff is both perfectly legal, and pisses people off. I think I've learned to roll with it better, which is why I don't have harsher things to say.

Dwarfpolespec I can't remember your name, but you were classy as hell when you beat the #### out of me.

Rylium - I wasn't impressed by your bravery, but you didn't do anything wrong per-say, just very conservative.

Empire-
Jalrandar stands out for your RP and willingness to tangle. Thanks for all that. The rest of you, nothing bad to say. Oogy, you were a beast. I got ganked a bit, but most people were classy about the loot.

Scion - Not much to say here. Ormee, you took a lot of con from me, but I'm glad I got you a few times. Malice is mean on low-con chars.

Fort -
Amatryisti - I spelled that wrong. But you were consistent with your rp and added a lot to the game experience. Thank you.

Worogha - you kicked my ass. it was fun.

Imms: Thanks so much for the last name and title. It really helped knowing you guys were around now and again.

Well, that's pretty much it for me. I'll be back for sure.

Ghrandang, aka Treebeard, aka Cainargen, Obregon, Gondrak, Thoric, and many more.

I am glad you had fun. You certainly made my logins much better.
I only wish we had shared play times more, but when we met on weekends, it was great.

Roll another outlander!
120571, You were always fun to fight too

I enjoyed our fights, and I always love when people are similarly willing to tussle solo.

Shaman are scary if you don't have much svs, but I think on the whole axe stacks up pretty well.

The venoms path gets really, really nasty when you have low con, but otherwise I think the fights can be pretty even.

Great job playing a balls to the wall wild man (vs raiding with a large group then sitting by the tree for hours). When I saw a human warrior in my range, I was chomping at the bit to steam roll what I expected to be an easy fight. In the end, I think you killed me 3 or 4 times and I never got you. Definitely a foe Jalrandar took seriously and respected.
120555, A Shooting Star.

I had no idea you were going so fast. You burned pretty bright there. A nice presence for Outlander. Luck to you in the next incarnation.
