112919, Apologies to whoever wasted the money on the pbf.

I should have probably warned people it wasn't worth looking at but
I didn't realize anyone was going to pick it up. My bad and sorry.
112866, Like it wasn't obvious. :)

First invoker past acedemy, this is HOW first... until this guy I
didn't realize you had to learn the touch spells like a combat thing.
Hehe. I was sure I'd suck like a street trollop. Turns out it wasn't
so bad. I went REALLY slow to start messed with one spell at a time
until I got how and when it would work, when to run, what I could face
at that level etc... Then I got talked into ranking up... A terrible
mistake. It was a prison rape from then on. :)

Soooo... I asked what I should do expecting a go away, but in the
responses was Baer's do an elf sword nimmers. No elf warriors for me
for a while, so I did nimmers with a twist. Then I got to BE nimmers
for a while and about the time it got fun in the 'OMG that horror
movie had such realistic gore I wanted to puke' way. I got told to
stop it. Well hell that was a nimmers thing. Throw your body, broken
and bloody against the wall until the wall breaks. Everyone should
try a guy like this, it's fun once you quit caring about dying.
LOTS of fun, not just a little bit of hey that's neat. I mean like
Wooo hooo mother ####ers heeeeere we goooooo!
So it was mostly fun, didn't dig the village war, that's a bunch of
crap. And no that isn't some personal whiny bit, they would have all
been hunting ME anyway. :)

As for the delete, I've just been waiting for an excuse. I've got a
land thing going on, I busted my hand, got the whole SCA thing taking
up more of my time and attention. I've been putting someone off on
a red baldric for a while now because I'm a bit mental that way.
Been arguing with the wife and she likes to pick raids etc... as the
time to decide that she wants an argument. I think she actually watches
a while first. hehe.

Let's see, what else... you know how you jump someone and they will
have an instinct response? usually word, flee and teleport etc...
mine was pillar. If you startled me I'd pillar.

I should have loads to say to lots of people but I figure it would be
a good time for just replies right now.
112870, NIMMERS! <3

So glad you did this, and that it seemed fun roughly 85 % of the time. Osh was just suggesting you for Captain, but I could see this delete coming. Next time!

As always - you know I'm your biggest fan.

Much Love,
Baerbaer

I have a fan?!?!?! *rofl* and yeah 85% is about right for the fun
I'll probably do another invoker sometime that was not what I expected.
It's a good fit for the way I think. Lowbie wise I was rockin' along.

I'm not sure another nimmers would be a good idea if the diety they
follow can't stand to watch the train wreck. The train wreck is where
the fun is. :)

Hope you and nep are doing well btw.
112871, Same with me with pillar!

I did it as an arial. Shields weren't always up.

112873, What is a nimmers?
Posted by Tesline on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Also good character. I enjoy fighting you at the inners with my throwaway conjie. You had a sort of happy go lucky additude going on for you which was interesting. You sort of made me want to play Fort as you made it seem fun. definately a stand out character in fort. (Both from obvious newness to the class and what seemed like a different take on their RP). GLWYN
112876, Thank you.
Posted by Bajula on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I'm 80% of the time a happy go-lucky person by nature and I decided
years ago LET it bleed through, it makes it more fun for others as well
as me. :)

Nimelerion is 'a nimmers' He was an elven warrior who came about at
the time they first put in outfit. You might find him in the battle
field thing still. He was nothing but a pile of balls. Full con to
con death in about 2 weeks. He'd get the orb back from the imperial
hordes though. Even if it was more the players got sick of killing
him and just logged off. Hehehe. I was made maran in mid combat and
didn't catch what was going on, the imm distracted me and I fell about
2 seconds in. hehe. I had a GREAT time with him. Nimmers NO! was sort
of raybaer's mantra before she was raybaer when it came to him.
Nep said later it was like watching a train wreck, horrible, but you
just couldn't look away. So basically a nimmers is a person who will
NOT give up, enters combat balls first, and dies more than an academy
mob! :)

I manage to flee at %5 health or less, ever time.
Am happy go lucky, untill I die, most of the time.

I still die to forest guardians and happy farmers by the way.

As pruh I showed my Micro Computer Tech class what a Mud is.

They loled as I was going over the fight, scrolling and I got back to the present action and i was at 5percent health and I miskeyed panicked died.

I entertained their 30 person lan party. =) I am the old creepy guy.

Hehe, my daughters friends were by the other day and they just cannot
wrap thier heads around the text thing. Wait NO graphics? At all?
No that skull doesn't count... REALLY no graphics? and on like that.
Though I freely admit I'm a retard with an xbox controller. hehe.
My wife and I started playing one of the kids games though lotr war
in the north. It's like a graphical presentation of what it's like to
have been savaged by a poisoner thief but not be dead.. yet. Wandering
all directions like some drunken frat boys looking to start a fight
but not knowing with who.
112913, Heheheheh
Posted by Voralian on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I had almost everyone in my computer class turn their head..
The teacher even stopped. It was during my FOA certification, which I passed, I was playing an orc and I was rping with an elf.

Too make a long story short, I started laughing like a maniac, during a FOA certification.
112875, Well played
Posted by KaguMaru on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I think you managed to get yourself killing blow'd by Angron three times in a day, so that was pretty special ;)
112878, Hehe.. That guy was cool man.
Posted by Bajula on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
So well played to YOU!
112879, RE: Like it wasn't obvious. :)
Posted by Taialeo on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
This will sound patronizing, but I thought you had a great attitude. Seriously. Even when you were dying you seemed cheerful. Keep that up.
112882, RE: Like it wasn't obvious. :)
Posted by Bajula on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
I would not have thought of that as patronizing, except that you brought
it up :) Personally I believe 'has a good attitude' is a compliment.
2 things... what does it cost me to exhibit a good attitude? and
what does it gain those who do not? :) Sorry I'm tired I don't remember
what I was going to say. hehe. Ahh well who cares. Just have fun man.

Duvam,

I really enjoyed first stabbing you in the face with my dark-elf - and then interacting with you as my elf within the fort - In essence, un-stabbing you in the face.

It was a real challenge with two completely different roleplays - and you were the only character that really interacted on that depth with both. You added to my experience and enjoyment and I hope you come back to the fields soon - you will be missed!!

P.S. If you want another invoker that DOES NOT want to be dragged around as a shield whore... - be one that chooses the edge where they can't give them away. :) Then you
can just be you.

112883, Icky!
Posted by Bajula on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Hehe that is what I always called you over cb.. icky. Quite a change
from icky to lliv Well done!
As an aside you have no idea how many times I thought about that
edge. hehehe. Duvam just wouldn't do that.
I'm glad I added a bit even as an enemy. You were hella mean, but hey
what else should a dark-elf be right? Best of luck with what ever you
are doing now.
112881, Now that I understand what you were attempting, well played. You certainly became closer to a threat later on. (n/t)

112884, one of my favorite foes early on.
Posted by Bajula on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Holy crap dude you were EVERYWHERE I went. It was creepy. :)
After the jump through mids and finally getting my footing in
the later end of things yeah I guess I was a bit of a threat
'finally' hehe. Next invoker will be better... or worse if I
try for evil. :) I might be able to pull off an aloof darkie
scion invoker. Hrrrrmmmmmm... nope nope not for a while. hehe.
112895, Thanks for all the shields!
Posted by Merrol on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Was it you who was putting together a book detailing why Maran and Acolytes decided on joining the Fortress? If so, how did that turn out?

I really appreciated having you around the Fortress - thanks for all your help and good luck with your next!
112904, RE: Thanks for all the shields!
Posted by Bajula on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
:) Poor merrol, awesome guy but having played a couple of people
with deities that deleted it just sucks and I'm sorry for you there.

I was working on something else actually, and since I never got much
feedback I never took it to the next step. :) Which reminds me...
I need to send an email soon!!! Thanks for the reminder dude!

Hehehe.
112897, I would delete if I worded at full health inst responce. nt

112998, My Apprentice... but not.
Posted by Drogdenbaryd on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
When I first spoke with you for your induction I was winging it, and didn't fully expect you to roll with it so well like you did. It really made me enjoy my character more to know that my RP actually had an impact more than just my pk ability (or lack there of.)

I tried to give you as many tips as I could when it came to Invokers, I've hero'd about 5 or 6 now, and I LOVE them. I didn't on the other hand want to just impart so much knowledge that a paladin simply wouldn't know.

GLWYN. I'll be icesharding it up soon enough.

Hehe. Dude I felt so screwed at first, with oshui telling me I had to
follow your word like it was law. I was a chaotic guy and for once was
going to play a loose with the rules rebel-like fella. After a bit of
rolling with it though it was fun. As for the advice thanks! I did learn alot about the class, some things that you could do/face
surprised me and some things that you just can't surprised me as well.

In any case it was fun being your apprentice, glwyn as well. :)
