I have log after log after log of battle applicants getting plagued and poisoned and so forth and then going to a town healer and curing it. Fact. Not once. Not twice. Not three times. Many. And not one character. Not two. Many.

So really the question is whether you and the rest of the battle staff are that ignorant of what's going on, or whether by your explicit or tacit approval you are fine with it going on.
