Ha! One of the blessings and curses in this game is that only the immortal staff has a prayer of seeing the whole picture.

If a Nexan didn't inform me where the balance lay before attacking, I viewed them thereafter as homicidal opportunists who could be trusted even less than the evil half of the Tree because they did not share any of the same goals. Vhaile and I fought, but because he disadvantaged himself by informing me where the balance lay, I didn't even destroy his coins, may the Ancients forgive me.
