No I just wanted a short name that hadnt been used before and was only a couple of sylabels. The surname just sounded good with it, and then I noticed a very similiar one on a certain mob and on a certain emperor.
Incidentlly stick Varun in the google search and you get about 10 million hits or something, apparently its an Indian name, who would of thunked it.

Did the name detract from your experience? Was it a one eye patched rogue? I read a drizzt book once, it was about verbeeg and a little halfling dude, I thought it was pretty ####.
