And that is what the imms will look at if they aren't around to see what happened personally. Other than the applicants word (see:Unreliable) that is all they will have to go on. Unless they personally see that the flag wasn't properly warranted that is all they have to go on.

The only way to reliably prevent this is to avoid dying with the warrant until an official reversal could be made. It's a very niche situation, IMO, as it isn't often that someone waits until they have played over 50 hours to join Trib. Usually they start early for the salary. Inconvenient? Perhaps for that one in one thousand situation where someone was improperly warranted and also wanted to join Trib AND died with the false warrant active. I'm not sure that necessitates a more complex process than is already in place.
