One thing, concerning the lack of IC vitriol that Vallinane mentioned is that it's not something you (should) bring up while the character is still active, nor is it something you (should) bring up IC.

Granted, as a goodie (a no-name elf, Gareeyal, if we're curious), I didn't notice the vitriol so much as the lack of RP depth, in regards to that he essentially ignored everyone in the Fortress 95% of the time unless they could help him gang someone down or provide some other service (Such as Illanthos).

I remember him, multiple times, brushing me off or just outright ignoring me from my days trying to get an interview up to my days as a Squire just trying to RP chat with him for a bit. It wasn't necessarily bad, it just sort of grated on me given that there appeared to be no depth to the character. It didn't appear to be the cold shoulder of a hardened Maran or the brusqueness of a jaded veteran or anything else. It felt like 'Hey, I, the player, don't do this sort of thing.'

I guess my problem at the root of it is that from my point of view, if I interacted with Vozmuir as Yarglen, Gareeyal, or anyone else I would have no idea what his alignment, ethos, or even a semblance of his roleplay if he didn't have a title/tattoo/ethos defining gear.
