A bloody start.

A few days later, i pledged my loyalty before the captain of the bloody
Tribunal. Not much later, a provincial Magistrate named Sylvus, called
me to the Spire. When i arrived, the old and gaunt felar just said "I
am going to die very soon. So congratulations, you are my beneficiary."
And gave a Galadon's badge.

Soon later he also said something, that i did not pass his scrutiny, and
it was not really his problem anymore. He did die at that day, and i was
near and preserved and took care of his corpse with all the formality a
experienced and tribunal leader should have.

But that does not changed the fact, i entered the Spire without any kind
of exam or training. I would say, this time the Magistrates had luck,
because i am not an infiltrated or ill intended to corrupt the laws. And
besides that, i can learn alone. The library at the Spire is an amazing
guideline for every new member, and should be the first stop for any who
earns a new badge.

But remembering what happened to me, makes me think that this probably
had happened a lot before. I say this, because i can guarantee more than
twenty five per cent of the Spire's troop, have fallen and burried by
my own hands. Many, younger than they should, showing the total lack of
training to be thrown into the streets to do their jobs.

Much work to do ahead. Both in resting the dead and training the living.
