Ways of the Jaguar

I met the Lady. We spoke of the ways of the Jaguar. What is apparent to all
is our crusade against the darkness. Destroying the evil. But what is not
known to many others is that the crusade against darkness also includes the
darkness within ourselves. What is our purpose? What drives us? Is it
vengeance? Is it Love? Are we mindless soldiers in the crusade against
darkness? It cannot be. We cannot be mere mirrors of the darkness. We should
be more.

Those balanced souls, do they hold darkness in their heart too? Are they not
capable of wicked things? What about those that are clearly dark? Do we
purify all of them in the flames of the phoenix? And even between those of
the Empire, the Scion, the Orcs, the Tribunals, the Village or the lone
wandering fire giant or duergar. They all hold palpable darkness in their
hearts, yet are they all as culpable? I think not - all are wicked, but we
hunt the most wicked with great priority. We offer all a chance to turn, a
chance to seek redemption, failing which we offer them purification through
Combat.
