Sekhnah the High Sorceress of the Arcane

Description

A scent of blood mixed with rose and damascena catches your nose long before
you can find the originator of the smell. Her form stands in bold rejection
of the surroundings she takes refuge in. Scales of crimson stretch like
canvas over a sinewy build, absorbing rather than reflecting the sunlight or
moonlight that bear down upon them. She is average height for a Saurian, but
that is perhaps the only thing average about her. Remarkably symmetrical
features mark her as beautiful, irrespective of cultural ideas on the
matter. Her eyes are a beautiful shade of amethyst, speckled with gold and
domineering in their gaze. Her underside is an iridescent shade of ebony,
shifting in tone as she moves about. Jewel encrusted talons twitch with
fervor, as she scopes out her next meal. Her garb is rather peculiar, but
marks her as a mage nonetheless. You can tell that she is rather proud of
her form and build, as she leaves much of it open to the world's scrutiny.

There was wealth found in Weh.

The cycle of death, consumption, and rebirth intrigued Sekhnah to no end.

She was a creature of habit and instinct who's hunger for power, magick, and
Weh led her through the darkest shadows of Thera. In search of one who would
recognize her many facets and receive her.


A magi of carnal sin.

She had spent enough time growing up within the tree to have it become her
home. While there were a few she would gladly skin and wear. She knew that
they played their part- amongst the Ancients. And knowing that it was the Dark
Ancient of Glutton who saved her from captivity- she was willing to give them
solace.


Only as far as the Tree would cast her shadow however.

Primordial Ancient of Gluttony.

Sekhnah had a strong sense of taste and it was with that her ability to relive
previous experiences was possible. The Saurian Witch was gifted and cursed
with magick that was triggered via altruism. By consuming one's weh, she was
able to heal them of mild ailments and injury. A priceless gem one would say,
a gift of rarity amongst Thar-Eris. It was for this reason she needed to be
caged, seen, used, and consumed. The wood-elves near the swamps and saurian
village believed so. As they fought their wars, to protect their home- they
kept her bound. Her daily encounters required just enough physical nourishment
to keep her alive but dulled; her body an emaciated mass of scales and flesh.
Her magical nourishment was over-satiated with the weh of her captors-
feeding upon their wicked deeds and healing them in return and granting vigor
to their wounded bodies.

So she consumed.

Was consumed.

Healed.

Plotted.

Lusted over the day she would find freedom.

Freedom did not come to her, but a primordial ancient did. His wisdom
nourishes Sekhnah's withering resolve. Upon the night of a blood moon, his
whispers filled her chamber. She dismissed it as hallucinations, perhaps
dehydration setting in. But it only grew in intensity, strength, and
dominance. A booming voice that left tendrils of a low growl in its absence.
For payment to the Ancients of the Hunt- she would be granted strength. She
was to become the hunger and the fury of the Dark Ancients paying blood tithe
to Thar-Eris.


She, of course obliged.

And

Upon that day, with newfound vigor, she found herself dancing in the pale
moonlight.

Chapter 1

Blood. Weh. Chaos.

At the center of existence is blood, weh, and magick.
Sekhnah knew this to be true for these were the things that made up her soul.
Witch Doctress iss what she had become, a captive she once was, and a consumer
of chaos she would be remembered as. Her beginnings were filled with cruelty
but Sekhnah in her later years found them to be necessary. Like much of Thera
dictated what one deemed as evil, another deemed as necessary. And rather than
dismiss it she leaned into her vices, mixing it with weh and flesh for a
gluttonous fill. Life was purest when she was able to consume- a gift and
curse that bound her to the lands. As Thar-Eris required nutrients, Sekhnah
was given a second chance at life- under the premise that she would give
Mother her fill. To cull the weeds and water her roots with blood was the
beginning of Sekhnah's ambition- magic and weh the other.
