Slithering along before you is a large pitch black creature.
He moves mostly on all fours, long black powerful tail moving behind him.
When he stops to sit back on his hind legs, you see he is very tall,
Standing large amoung the tallest of giants. You estimate he is about nine
feet tall upright
he has pitch black talons that match his scales.
They look so sharp they gleam in the light.

Strouda'weh, the elder shaman of ysigrath, prayed to the spider queen.
Factions of saurian had begun discussing a new settlement outside of the swamp.
Stroud was cautious, not desiring to leave his home nor have his flock disperse,
He was however Was selected as en elder to venture forth and see how the world would react to saurian among them.
Stroud found himself in Galadon, among many curious and wary folk.
One magi with guards came to question the giant lizard looking hungrily at the drunk citizens wandering the street.
They had a conversation over the sider queen, where the priest learned of her connection to the drow. He was given directions to find the underworld.
+ Off he went, the tribunal just thinking good riddance to the strange creature scaring his citizens. Off he goes to die he thought.
Down into the underdark he went to a world completely uknown, down the chute into the darkness he slithered.
Into the pitch black he crawled, many yeards his vision had grown accustomed to sunlight to begin, he saw nothing.

Crawling out of the tunnel his senses took in the familiar scent of weh. His eyes slowly adjusted to the
darkness. There was little to be seen but corridors, which he began to crawl down following the familiar scent.
Reaching an intersection, he followed his instincts north.
he ground to a halt as he reached the biggest creature he had ever seen.
A huge lobster, lizard like creature was in front of him.
The cavefisher let out a shrieking roar, moved towards the saurian, as if to engage prey when suddenly it halted and froze.
It took the lizard in its mouth, in an intent to carry it. Then it turned around and crawled off towards Ktengs laboratory.
It spit the lizard out in the tunnels, pushed him south with his talons, gladly free, off south went towards the shrine.
Stroud gathered himself, unwounded, taking in his surroundings, realizing him self to be in a shrine to datkness, a very small blavk spider crawled out from behind the statue.
Strange creature from an interesting place. How is it you have learned of my power.
we may be, but not ignorant. We thrive and draw our power from all that is weh. We are the children you did not know you had. Every act of darkness you performed strengthened us all along.

His consciousness faded, he woke to familiar faces of his people, but in a new village surrounded by forest.
One thing was the same though, the kin still split among their celebration of sra and weh. Only the druid he first saw knew who he was and why he had left.
Accustomed to seeing younger saurian appear. He was disturbed to see Stroud materialize in the village, seemingly cotporeal amd unharmed.

A short conversation later, Stroud was filled in on the story of the exodus from the swamp and off he went to return home.
He found his holy altar now occupied by his former acolyte. Less than overjoyed at strouds return, Stroud began to explain what he required.
I hsve been gifted ancient knowledge in the form of a birthing blessing. I require a specimen with magical blood to breed a litter of magical saurian and begin a society as the drow have with the offspring.
The defectors have a sra female in the village talented in transmutation. I will help you take her. She will be your matron.
It was in the darkness of night, the weh came. Pearcia slumbered unassumingly, Stroud whispered grzzs, and her slumber became magical. Packed away was pearcia, drug out among the bloodbath left of the guards.
Stroud only stopped to pull out his knife, and cut some prizes from the guards.
morning came in Ysigrath, when percia awoke in her prison.
he recognized the scent of weh in the air she recognized the northern part of the swamp. Off to her east the druid glade off to her west.
Her prison a rope cage of rotted meshed swamp vines.
She felt a pain in her abdomen. There were no visible wounds upon inspection.
Persia was filled with a insatiable desire to dig.
So burrowing she began.
She dug all day long until nightfall. She circled the hole laid down and went to sleep with the sunset.
When morning came, she slithered out of her hole, leaving behind a batch of a dozen eggs.
Stroud came daily to check on his progeny. All that remained was patience..

Chapter 3

Blood Moon, month of great Evil

Stroud came in the black of night, with a basket of reagents he had been hoarding for months.


Peacria, weak and malnourished by the scraps that strengthened the weh was terrified by Stroud. She
She cowered by the wall as he stormed in her cell. Hovering between the light of the blood moon, He spoke as he held each item over the eggs,each item dissipating to essence under the spell and falling upon the clutch.
Gizzard of Sra protectors.
Excrement of dragon hatchlings.
Fungus of Amnesia
Suddenly he turned and grabbed pearcia, held her in the moonlight, said calmly in a whisper blood of mother and slit her throat,
The blood dissipated to essence as it gushed forward bathing the clutch.


The blood moon passes, the new moon rises, the eggs ready themselves for life. Night falls while the
druid guild watches the willo wisps dance, the clutch begans softly shuddering. Slowly some of the eggs
begin to crack, pitch black hatchlings begin to crawl out of the eggs. A dozen hatchlings toddle about the
mudhole, when one male rises, stands, and ross loudly proclaiming himself the alpha.

druid draws attention to the lights of the will o wisps dancing towards the village of the sz'weh. He
He guides the hatchlings to journey towards the village. The alpha crawls pout of the hole, siblings follow the bold hatchling.
The children crawling towards the village in the northern part of the swamp of weh would prove as
hatchlings, maiming the young if not ripping them apart outright.
Something rose up within Szizua. He took his talons, ripped through the murkdwellers.
Amidst the carnage of the dead hatchlings, ichor still steamed from the dead hatchlings.
Szizua promptly devoured the remains of his siblings, when he was finished he absorbed any remaining essence, roared loudly and crawled out of the swamp.
