Description

Before you stands a towering figure. Near fifteen feet in height,
he is an impressive size even for one of his race. Large arms,
ripped with muscle, are covered in chitinous bony plates. He grips
weapons tightly within clawed fists, as he scans his surroundings.
Dressed in heavily plated armors, and draped by dark ceremonial robes.
His head is shaved clean, and covered with blood red tattoos of
religious scriptures. He sneers from within his hood, large fangs
protruding from ebony lips, a look of anger on his face. Upon his
back he carries a large sack, filled with religious scriptures, and
assorted artifacts. He hums an old hymnal to himself, in a deep
rumbling voice. A look of smugness on his handsome face.

The Ascension of Kobar Absal'Katuth

Kobar searched the world. He knew he was born for greatness, and he
would find that greatness within the ranks of the Imperial army. He
trained his mind, and body to perfection. He needed guidance in
his path to conquering these lands. Though his Emperor, Drogathar,
was a wise and leader reknown for his strength in combat, Kobar knew
his time would come. He followed his Emperor into combat against the
uncivilized hordes, and foolish followers of the light. Many a great
victory was had at their hands. Kobar's thirst for conquest grew with
each new day. His faith in Lord Rillan, the most High of High, never
faultered, and he relished in the spoils of war. He served his
emperor with unyielding loyalty. These lands knew the fear of the
sounds of imperial trumpets, and the brutal assaults that followed
their clarion call. All was as it should be, and then he heard the
news. Emperor Drogathar had taken his life, an honorable act. The
King was dead, Kobar though with a grin. Long live the King...

Seeking out the Empire: the adolescent years of Kobar Absal'Katuth.

Kabor grew larger and larger as he moved from a child to a young
adult. He had all the lavish comforts his heart could want, but
he was always unsatisfied. He was never grateful, or dis he ever
appreciate the riches of his family. He grew in size, but inside
his temper and anger grew as well. One night while in a drunken
stupor, he killed the daughter of the local tavern owner.
To cover his crime, he bolted the doors of the tavern with the
key from her belt. Threw inside a flaming torch, to set the place
ablaze. And rode from town, to seek the ranks of the Imperial
army. Best he be out of his homeland for now. And he was always
better than that small village. He was born for greatness.

The early childhood of Kobar Absul'Katuth

Kobar was born to a wealthy family. Having made their gold in the
slave trade. He grew up overseeing the capture and selling of new
slaves for his father. Dealing mostly in gnome, felar, and minotaur
races, in his eyes the far inferior creatures. His father was a
cruel man, having little time for his son. He grew up cold and
was always striving to impress his wicked father. He lashed out
at the household servants daily. Once, breaking a young gnome's
neck in a fit of rage, he buried the body out behind the well.
Not to conceal his crime of murder, but the waste of an expensive
well trained house servant. His father would beat him furiously
if he knew of his. Mercy was not given within the household of
Absal'Katuth.
