Description

A dashing young man with eyes as blue as the sky and hair as blond as golden
wheat. A face chiseled in the same way great sculptors would carve out of the
finest marble. Muscles that rippled down his body like waves in the ocean.
Beauty, poise, strength all traced this man's body in the image of perfection
that he was. The kind of man that would have any woman entrenched in fantasy.
He wore a series of expensive clothing that enhanced his charm. A leather so
fine that it is hard to place what kind of animal was used to make it.
Standing at a six foot two and built this man looks as if he is the pinnacle
of humanity.


Despite all this he gives off an uneasy aura, his eyes are a bit hollow,
sunken in how they scan the world around him, and his smile a bit too
friendly while his teeth gleam with an unnatural sharpness. Magical energy
emanates all around him in a dark cloud. The smell of papaya and blood fills
the air as you look closer you can see.

Chapter 7

Isabella

During a small ritual with Garrick his fractured mind was settled. The
imposed insanity was caused by a vampire by the name of Isabella.


Isabella is a high elven woman turned vampire after falling for a young human
who was involved with the cult of consanguine. They both became vampires
though she had no intention of turning. Before this understaking she had a
child with that man. She left the child with the church of Arkam knowing that
her life with the cult wasn't the kind of life for a child. Leaving the child
with her father's last name Cherryblossom and naming him Merittet.


After she woke as a vampire she wanted a family turning many into fledgling
vampires and thralls. Only to have them slaughtered by paladins."heart
broken" she hide herself away festering in her hatred of those that stole her
"children" from her. Though her life before undeath was a haze she remembered
having a child of her own.


She was going to find him and speak to him personally. Let him know of his
lineage, but when she found him among the paladin's guild she turned to rage.
Devising a plan to take her child away from the guild and make him into a
powerful vampire like herself. She was going to slowly torture him for his
arrogance of joining the paladins guild.


collected various items to create a ritual to bind him to her soul.
Binding his connection to life to her negatively connected soul. Binding them
both together. She is able to create a semi physical connect and a fully
physical connection.


The semi physical allows her to set rules and cause him to act upon specific
goals. The full physical gives her full control over his body. This has it's
own risks as her body suffers the same pain as his.

Chapter 6

A change of the mind

Dreaming in his head he Merittet is chained to the walls out of control of
his actions. Only part of his mind is chained away. His morality, his
feelings of remorse, and his desire for duty. He watches unable to do
anything as his body acts beyond his control. Killing many that he would call
friends in a different life. Horrifying he screams echo in his own mind.
Futile. As he grows stronger as a necromancer and his mastery of his craft
the real merittet breaks through slightly more. Causing him to become more
and more "unstable"


His mind is broken into four personalities now.


The part of his mind tramatized by the spiders marked by fliratiousness,
reasonability, and calculated moves. This is the most common.


The part of his mind afflicted by the music box. Sorrowful, mourning, and
more inclined to poetry. Hoping more to see the beauty of the world.


Vampiric bite: She takes control of his mind inciting bloodlust. He aims to
kill any and everyone in these moments. She gains major control of his body
and focuses mostly on this.


The caged paladin: When she takes full control of his body his mind is free
to speak. He tries his best to warn the innocents he tries to kill./

What is real? (Memory gaps explained)

A hazy dream fills his mind while he sleeps. A woman pale white with blood
red eyes. She is speaking to him though he doesn't understand her words. She
finds himself stuck in a trance like state as he feels internally pure
terror. He tries to focus on what she says even trying to tear himself away.
Each time he tries it feels as if his skin is being bite into and pain sears
through his head. Eventually his mind relents allow himself fall into a
trance like state.


vampire speaks to the young paladin. "You will serve me from now on,
your guild has abandoned you, your family must die by your hand, and you will
rise among the necromancer guild. When you are ready you will join the ranks
of vamparism as my pet bringing forth my desires. You will not remember any
of my commands....to think of them will cause you severe pain. When in doubt
think of what I want you to do. Now go forth my little pet. You have much to
do.


wakes from the dream as it slowly fades from his mind. To think
of it merely brings a headache before he focuses back on his tasks at hand.

Summary/Personality

A young paladin who was raising money to help support his family left to go
cleanse a haunted mansion that was reported to the guild. He entered the
Mansion finding all kinds of horrors that drove him insane. Causing him to
have an obsession with death and poetry. Warped and broken he slaughtered his
family and sewed their flesh into his clothing so he;d never be without them.


He wants to understand the better aspects necromancery, life, death, how it
all comes together. Aspects of the horrors he was visited upon keeps his
focus. Music boxes intrigue him, vampires delight him, mirrors and spiders
can only make him smile.


Personality:


He tends to flirt relentlessly with no goal or reason outside he is reliving
the vampire bride horror.


He is erratic at times as he falls into the madness of the mansion.


He will be sad about his families death and never admit it to many that he
was the one that killed them. He seeks the sympathy of a mourner.


He can't get his pain out of his head, poetry is his only escape.

darkened woods. Lightning flashes as a cruel smile can be seen carved upon
his face. Oh how could life get any better. The man returned home to his wife
and kids.


The voices telling him, begging him, calling to him as he slaughtered them in
cold blood. Writing a poem in their blood. "Madness takes us in broad
daylight, MAdness bleeds us of our sight. Madness consoles us in our fright,
Madness brings us into the night." He was found sewing their bodies into his
clothing before running off into the night.


He wondered how much control he had in those moments. The bliss he felt and
the horror. He wanted to feel more what this was. He needed to be closer to
death at the very cusp of it all. He doesn't know how to grasp it fully so he
will seek out Rarywey and seek out the necromancers guilds. The laugher, the
bite, the pain, the horror, what is it all?

He moved forward into the next room finding a lone music box. Something
tugged at him compelling him to pick it up and wind it. He knew he shouldn't.
Felt he mustn't. His hand move on it's own picking it up and winding it. The
box popped opened as the music started to play. Yet nothing came out of it.
His head started to spin slowly around as he hit the point his neck couldn't
move past.


A cracking sound was heard as his neck snapped in it's continued course. His
head spun fully around before the skin on his forehead started to part
horizontally with two more lines appearing just below his nose and just above
his chin. His flesh parted with a little ballerina appeared inside his
distorted head. It dances and spun in a circle as the haunting melody


enchanted the room with it's eeriness. Soon the ballerina fell over limp the
music dying down as she started to laugh slowly growing louder. The paladin
felt and heard everything his sense of reality slowly shattering as he
questioned how was this possible? The ballerina clawed at her own face as
blood pour out dripping drown his chin. He felt his hand rise to claw at his
own face before...


His face slowly closed the wounds and the seams of his splintered face went
back to normal. He looked down at the music box before winding it
again....the process repeated. Time and time again. How many days did he
spend consumed by this process? How much blood could he taste in his mouth as
the ballerina ripped her face apart? When would this all stop? An eternity
later or a mere moment later.


He couldn't tell the difference between the two, but nevertheless he was
simply standing alone in a room. A library well lit with candles and a warm
fire place. The room was spotless as if it had been well taken care of. In
his arms a woman with fair white skin nestled into his arms. The horrors of
his recent venture slowly fading from his mind as he pulled the warmth of her
body closer.


She smiled up at him with such beautiful teeth. Such sharp teeth. Suddenly
she felt so cold as she bit deeply into his flesh. His warmth slowly
draining into her. Everything fading from him. His memories. His feelings,
his life, his sanity. It was all hers. He heard a laughter echoing and he
thought to himself not again. As it grew louder he found it wasn't echoing
from the house.


It was his own laughter. The joy of it all as he kissed deeply savoring the
taste of the corpse he had his tongue shoved into it. He stood up twirling
the corpse about as if it were a dance partner. Saying in a dashing manner
"I'm sorry my love, but I must cut our dance short. I have something to
attend to." Dropping the corpse then before leaving he bows to it.


He looked around him to find himself at the entrance of the mansion. He
twirled about to face the door opening it knowing full well it was never
locked. The cool rain beating against his face as he walked outinto the

Chapter 1

House of Horrors.

A young paladin sought to cleanse a haunted mansion to earn gold to support
his wife and kids. He was an kind and noble man that was Stout of heart and
mind. He wandered deep in the forests near Arkam searching for the cursed
house that was said to be haunted. He was there to cleanse the place of all
it's terrors. He happens upon an old mansion fitting the description. Black
clouds seem to gather above as moisture starts to fall from the sky.


He ventured inside the mansion while looking about. The moment his hand left
the door it slammed behind him. He rushed to the door enraptured by fear. He
pulled and pulled only to find the door was locked without any opening for a
keyhole. He lit the lantern he had brought with him before observing his
surroundings.


The mansion was filled with dust and cobwebs obviously not having been taken
care of for some time. He pushed himself to move forward toward one of the
nearby rooms, but before he entered the room he saw a plaque. The faded words
read "Those who enter never remain the same, sanity is a thing of past, only
you are to blame, these horrors won't be the last."


Laughing to himself trying to reassure himself. "This is all nonsense. I will
be fine" he said to himself. He pushed on into a room filled with mirrors.
Each distorted the view of himself in various ways. Making him appears
fatter, taller, shorter, and with strange facial features. One in particular
seems to smile back. He peered closer, but it didn't move.


The image in the mirror stayed still before laughing. The laughter echoed
through the room slowly getting louder, louder, and louder. He covered his
ears trying to drown out the sound, but it only grew louder until it is all
he heard. Foolishly his eyes met the image in the mirror when suddenly the
laughter stopped. The image reached up slowly reaching for it's eyes before
grasping them firmly and ripping them out.


He watched in horror as the now staring up at the eyeless figure start
spewing spiderlings that covered his image before devouring it. He tried to
shake off the horrific imagery before trying to move on. He found he couldn't
yet move as something was holding him in place. His eyes began to itch as his
vision skewed. Suddenly he was staring up at himself while the itching


continued. His vision faded to black as the itching is all he felt until he
felt bites all over his body. He screamed and screamed slapping the spiders
that were assaulting his body until....nothing. He awoke perfectly fine in
another room breathing heavily. Searching the room for his attackers finding
none. He stood up brushing himself off before telling himself "Everything is
fine."
