I was hesitant to do so originally, I suppose because I felt guilty about
Therlonius' demise, but I have decided to take up his lastname. When
discussing my past with Zsarreyen, our High Herald, she mentioned that I
should indeed do so. And, after much consideration I do believe it is right to
do it. Even though we never met before, our fates are now intertwined. Where
his research ended, mine began. If I hadn't nullified his experiment, it was
surely going to be a huge success. His name would have been on everyone's
lips. It has come to me now, I shall carry his name, so that if I succeed this
achievement will still be associated with him. I hope I may honor him and the
path he has set me on.
