Elemental Research and Findings - A journal by Shami

- Solving the remaining Elements -

Progress is made, we now only have Fire, Ice and Water left to be figured out.
Being already a liquid, water shouldn't prove much of a mystery. The only
catch is that it can not be allowed to wash away any of the other Elements,
particularly Earth and Ooze. In the right dosage however, we can add it to all
layers, providing extra fluency to all Elements. Further ensuring their
correct pace.

Fire and Water are opposing forces, if allowed direct contact, Fire and Ice
however seem to be a logical combination. Ice by nature is a solid and without
external stimulation reluctant to be moved if on a hard underground. However,
if slightly heated a layer of moisture arises, allowing it swift movement if
manipulated. This heat needs to be under strict control, because it of course
not the goal to dissolve the Ice entirely.

Fire by itself cannot be turned into a liquid to my knowledge, but I have
figured out a way to meaningfully put it to use, as it is of course still a
vital element on the path to achieving the Pure Element! There can be no
whole, if a single component is missing. As mentioned we should heat the ice,
ever so slightly, we can do this by adding heat to the Earth, making it more
malleable. As an extra bonus, this also means we do not need as much Earth as
originally predicted to counter the corrosiveness of Ooze, as the Fire aids
with resisting it.

The warmth of this heated Earth can then indirectly melt the Ice as required.

A full theorem has been achieved! Each individual Element has been figured out
and tested. I am able to reliably produce a stream for each Element, in the
fashion described earlier.

The next conundrum is how to contain the flow of all these Elements and how to
protect me, and possibly any by-standers, from catastrophy, if such would
occur.
