Elemental Research and Findings - A journal by Shami

- Reflections in preparation of the first experiments -

Finally it has come this far, I have achieved all lesser shields and already
some of the greater. This knowledge is paramount to enable me in my research
and experimentations while avoiding evaporating into non-existence.

Currently I know only what I saw at Therlonius Dragonfire's experiment, what I
was taught by Treelezkian Rothston and what I picked up on the road. I believe
that the search for the Purest Element is an earnest and achievable goal,
although I do not currently know what that even is. I can speculate, but that
is not what a proper researcher is supposed to do. He conducts experiments and
collects facts. And hopefully results, along the way.

Luckily I do know what needs to be happen in order to reach that Purest
Element. At Therlonius' experiment I witnessed a cauldron, filled with liquid
Elements. Each Element remained it's own, but each was in full contact with
its neighbour. No friction, no sparks, and definitely no explosions (that came
later).

However. As we all know this will not be achieved without true mastery of the
Elements. Flame will evaporate water, water will douse fire, water can wash
away earth, ice can freeze water into a solid, lightning may cause a fire. So,
clearly something needs to happen to mold each Element in such a way that it
interacts with the other next to it, but effortlessly. By itself, still as
one, but in union with the other Elements. Only once that is achieved, the
Purest Element can be attempted.

Documenting this process is the goal of this journal.
