Multifaceted insights

Intrigued and more than a little puzzled about what had happened, Shami
returns to the city of Hamsah Mu'Tazz and goes to the docks to watch the boats
go by and think. After a while her gaze falls on the colored lines on her body
and can't help but think "Interesting, this deep turquoise line has the same
color as the water". As she contemplates that thought, the color of that
particular line intensifies. That realization throws her out of her focus and
the coloring returns to it's usual brightness.

"Hm, that was interesting" Shami says, as she gazes at the other lines
intersecting all over her body and all the colors they have. "If turquoise is
water, perhaps those red lines are fire?" She concentrates on the image of a
homely fireplace and as if on cue the red lines flare up to a bright orange.
As soon as she abandons the thought, the coloring fades once more.

After a while she figures out that

Turquoise = Water
Red = Fire
Brown = Earth
Cyan = Air
White = Ice
Green = Ooze
Yellow = Lightning

Amused she can't help but think that she has to be able to do something with
this, finally her days of poverty are over!
