Look to your orb for warning

The theory Therlonius was researching seems to be under the assumption that as
pure light breaks into multiple colors when it hits a prism, so is it the case
with the elements. What we see are the broken up parts of a whole. A PURE
element. Divine even, perhaps.

Based on what occured last evening it seems clear the man in the purple robe
was Therlonius. Those brightly colored substances must have been all the
elements, somehow made fluid and malleable. Within the book Shami found a
passage that also may shed some light on the purpose of that glass orb. As the
rest of the book it has been heavily singed and damaged, but some letters can
still be read:

As Shami witnessed the orb she held in her hand very rapidly absorbed the
contents of the cauldron. Perhaps Therlonius hoped to use that to forge that
pure element. By falling into the cauldron this process happened
uncontrollably and violently.
