The overworld provides an abundance of combatants to test her skill against.
Clever foes of both weapon and mind and diverse in their abilities sharpened
Dezuwaan each day, rewarding her in victory and even in defeat.

She found her way into the Empire, intending to be a shadowed face in in the
machinations of war and progress, yet quickly earned a name for herself as a
killer. Such recognition came with leading the Sect as its Shadow Lord. She
took the responsibility dutifully, serving her the deceased emperor Thokran
and later Varkal.

Perhaps there was indeed a place for her to build a new House, mightier in
grandeur, power, and influence, than even that of Teth Azeleth.

Few rival her abilities, though she finds little comfort in such, concerned
that another plateau looms.

She sought out one renowned not only in battle but in the war, one who
commands victory in battle and in life. Panmorne the Tactician. So she
sought out his tutelage and lordship, that his praise be made known in word,
in the chime of metal upon metal, in the killing strike, but most importantly
in her victory.
