With my Lord's long silence, I sought out the Lady Baerinika and discussed
the long journey that has led me to the Maran Tar'abal and my recent pledge.
The conversation was tense, for when I was asked why I had had reservations
I spoke of my disapproval of protracted war and slaughter as an ineffective means
of actually pushing wickedness from this plane. I explained the positive impact
Captain Coqui and the redeemed dark elf Quivdereyeah had on my mind, and ultimately
believe that I might better serve the Light by being vigilant within the walls
rather than without.

Several members of the Fortress told me that the Elder Prophet had appeared during
a brief sleep, but I take heart that he still roams the hills and plains near the Redhorns.

The Captain and I spoke at length about Tamazin, the plight of the Masters, and the appeal
such has. Coqui believes that at some level Tamazin's motives are pure, and I cautioned her
that altruism is not a characteristic common to undead. We also spoke about her love of bees
and her hope to one day create a race of bees that dance with energy from the positive planes.
