A lust-dedicant asked to speak to me, seeking to discover what it was I wanted.
Knowing how such a soul sees the desires as strings that make puppets dance
for their own dark enjoyments, I instead gave him the puzzle of priorities
that every person must consider, and asked him not what it was he wanted,
but what it was he valued.

This gave him pause, for although he wanted both the success of his church and the dark night
to bring slaughter to the world, he would happily give it all for his faith.

Though I believe there may be even a sliver of light in the darkest of souls,
this invoker may entice gullible moths to burn up in a darkly visible flame.
I must endeavor to labor against the machinations of this one without regard
for his comparative youth.
