Chapter 1

Initial role

Flashes of the chase enter his mind. The thought of killing and devouring his
enemies, friends, anything that came close. Taking any he could in the heat
of passion or in the embrace of death. It all seemed like a distant blur to
him. He looks down at his clawed hands realizing something is different.
Everything felt so calm to him so empty. Why has his body changed? What is he
now?


A familiar rush of bloodthirst overcomes him as he slams his claw into a
near by swamp rat. The gush of blood sprays around him though little more
than a splash of his true desire. He stands slowly to observe his body as he
finds himself naked. He looks down to make sure he is still a man. Grinning
through vicious teeth he thinks to himself. At least that still exists.


The cold of the air assaults him driving him to find clothing in the near
by saurian village. The Saurians are appalled at his behavior as he tries to
take a few of the women for himself before being beaten by much stronger
lizardmen. He needed to grow stronger as he couldn't take what was his
through blood.


Rumors abound about a demon god that could help him in his pursuits for now
all he has is a name. Zurcon.
