False Renunciation

Shisavra has been in repose in her roost for some time, waiting for her foes,
the Avatars, to rise up to her title. Now that they have, she is active again
to find that both her pets have joined the Chasm, and that Iliunezyn holds the
gates.

He demands that she forsake Eshval in favor of Morius.

In her arrogance, Shisavra believes she can lie to a God, because she believes
she was crafted and created by one.

In her delusion, she believes she will die without blood like a vampire will,
so naturally Eshval will always own her soul.

So she prays to Morius, 'renouncing' Eshval, with the intent to lay the dagger
in all of their backs later.

Unfortunately this has driven her into a panic as she can *feel* the divine
investiture leaving her.

Now there's nothing for it but forward and to pray that she can re-acquire
Eshval's blessing through her duplicity later.
