Description

Sable pinions frame the form and features of Shisavra, the dark and majestic
arial woman. Supple and finely shaped, glossy wings spread from her back,
gleaming with glittery flecks that bring the stars into reminiscence when
the light plays across them. Made up heavily, milky pale skin drapes itself
over her form, flawless, immaculately and painstakingly done to hide even a
trace of imperfection. Twin lines of dark kohl draw their way from her
brilliantly ruby eyes down past her beak and chin, drawing attention to her
carefully presented cleavage, bound up and lifted by a corset. Like a fell
headdress, feathers stripped bare to the ash-grey rachis sweep back over the
crown of her head, a display at once regal and unnerving, preceding more
sumptuous plumage - inky and lustrous as a river of oil, the finer vanes
trail along the whole of her back, brushing the floor in her wake in a
coquettish imitation of hair. Each movement, when she has the ability to
define her own steps, seems graceful and intentionally seductive,
smoke-limned eyes inviting those she meets to become lost in their shadows.
Faint incarnadine stains line the sides of the sharpened point of her beak.

Shisavra has been in repose in her roost for some time, waiting for her foes,
the Avatars, to rise up to her title. Now that they have, she is active again
to find that both her pets have joined the Chasm, and that Iliunezyn holds the
gates.

He demands that she forsake Eshval in favor of Morius.

In her arrogance, Shisavra believes she can lie to a God, because she believes
she was crafted and created by one.

In her delusion, she believes she will die without blood like a vampire will,
so naturally Eshval will always own her soul.

So she prays to Morius, 'renouncing' Eshval, with the intent to lay the dagger
in all of their backs later.

Unfortunately this has driven her into a panic as she can *feel* the divine
investiture leaving her.

Now there's nothing for it but forward and to pray that she can re-acquire
Eshval's blessing through her duplicity later.

Another Bloodpet

Asking the demon-seeker whether he wished to travel, Shisavra has convinced
Tebahen to be her second blood-pet. Amused by his breeding desires, she finds
it simple to lead him on as long as it results in him helping her to ascend to
the pinnacle of her guild and to become 'under' her in the Eshvalian sense
that Tebahen's blood is hers for her to drink.

She believes herself to be on top in this relationship, as she will be in all
of her relationships. His scales are comely enough that she's attracted, on a
minor level, and believes him to be worth sparing. Since she is stronger than
Tebahen, Shisavra believes that she will enforce Eshvalian targets on him of
who to kill and who to spare.

An arial can be a Dark Jewel, because she's nightborn, of course, so why can't
a Saurian?

A LESSER RACE?

Having entered the Lyceum of the Eternal Star, tired of the questions swimming
in her mind, her heart stopped when she read something about Her Queen-

'Let this be a warning to those not of the human, half-human
and dark-elven races: your lesser race is not welcome in the Court, though
you may seek Her blessings in other matters.'

The bottom has fallen out from Shisavra's mind. Yes, she managed to make
Nyrinia into one of her bloodpets already, just instinctually. But she is an
arial. She has culture. She has beauty. What did this text mean? The Heralds
didn't do it right.

They didn't record anything right.

She was Nightborn, so Eshval would return, and Shisavra would be first among
the Court.

This was immutable fact. Shisavra informs Liliath that the Heralds have made a
grave error as she attempts to wade back to tenuous sanity.

Nyrinia, first blood

In the course of her adventuring, knowing that she will need powerful allies,
beautiful allies, blood-siblings, she has acquired the interest of Nyrinia in
likewise joining to the Chasm. A drow conjurer that summons a spectre
familiar, Nyrinia permitted Shisavra to feed on her blood, straight from the
neck, with a cut from her beak. Nyrinia says that she 'needs to do something'
to get rid of baggage before she pledges. Shisavra is optimistic that this
means she will, indeed, have a true blood sibling, greatly devoted to bringing
back the Queen and paving the way for the Night She'd rule. She flirts with
Nyrinia constantly to keep her interest. After all,

You can't kill a villager giant like Crasur together and NOT end up friends.

Shisavra continues to obsessively grow in her own power that the Light will
not eclipse the Dark and the Sun can be brought to heel, and pledges to the
Scions officially.

Nightborn

Shisavra is formed of the hideous magics of Loki, a fairy tale given flesh.
Believing deeply that she is one of the legendary Nightborn of Eshval, she is
concerned by the gaps in her memory regarding the Vampire Queen, but believes
that her mind will clear of its strange fog as she continues to make offerings
- aesthetic and proper - in blood and death to Her name. The Scions of the
Eternal Night should be assisted, for the Nightborn hate the Sun. The price
that she will demand of the Scions for her assistance - for is Shisavra not
the most beautiful of carrion birds, the most powerful of shadows that sweep
the night with awe? - is the assistance of the powers of the Ebony Sceptre, of
course. She must pave the way for Eshval's return. She will return, and accept
her first child, Shisavra, as the highest authority in Her new court.

She intends to manipulate as many fools, by lust or by lie, as she can on her
way to her goals, taking a deep and dark pleasure in her appearance and force
of personality.
