Role

Chapter 15

To destroy Thera and himself. Anger and hatred over magic.

Lately Malagdin doesn't enjoy his own life and the world he lives in
at all. He spent his whole life murdering almost everybody he met to
steal their souls with goal to become stronger. But his ideas of how
to use all the gained power later in life were always changing. Last
few weeks there was almost none to murder for Malagdin and he feels
himself in deep depression as if he's wasting his life. And he clearly
understands that he was only really happy those few days of his life
when he betrayed his Dread Lord (by killing him in the Palace) and was
a pledge to Scions of Eternal Night with big, cruel plans for future.

Malagdin was never a creator of any kind, and magic itself was never
important for him, he values magic only because it can potentially
give Malagdin never seen before power and fear of other therans. He
never really wanted to be a master or servant of the god of magic.

Malagdin only wants to feel himself alive again, he wants to feel
adrenalin during endless battles, he wants to feed on fears of others
who are scared of him. He wants to fight strongest people in Thera -
other mages, with Tamazin being strongest of them. He wants to burn,
to break will of others, and to destroy everything and everybody.

... Or finally die himself trying...

Malagdin never wanted a peaceful and long life with many allies and
almost no risks for himself. He's going to reach the pinnacle in his
guild of anti-paladins right now and see how much destruction and
pain he can cause. He hopes to finally become a Scion of Eternal
Night and one day destroy Thera in it's current shape... even if it
means he'll die together with the world he was born in.

Pain, fear and death instead of peace, boredom and endless trainings!
