Perspective is everything. All my life I have been preoccupied with my body,
other bodies, sex and making or not making babies. And here we have at the
top of the Black Sect Hall, The Lord of Dread. Not evening breathing, not
even really alive. It's body is as unnatural as imaginable, wrapped in
cloths as if to hold its form together.And yet, it shows no sign of
insecurity. Shows no signs it is concerned with how it looks and certainly
does not seem interested in offspring. Despite that, the Dread Lord's
power towers over all others in the Black sect hall. I could never have been
more wrong about the source of power. I should learn it's secrets and
perhaps this could be a way I could achieve such power.I survived self
castration, perhaps I could survive death as well. But I must be smart and
must be patient. The Dread Lord has just made me an Elite. I wonder if it
would have done so if it could sense my insecurity and not always controlled
lusts.I must continue to improve myself. The position of Elite is an
opportunity, I must seize it.
