Description

Dressed in a set of priestly robe, an unhooded woman stands before you.
Her white cropped hair was combed backwards in a neatly manner. With
a stoic expression, piercing gaze from her gleaming silver eyes
seems to judging your worth. Bearing masculine and sharp chiseled
facial features, she can be easily mistaken as the other gender. A
fainting sight of her slightly pointed ear seems to reveal her racial
root. Four ear studs can be seen glittering on her right ear loop.
On her right arm bear the mark of a black jaguar with glowing white eyes.

Chapter 14

Atrissa's Three Tales of the Light

Zetnava attended Atrissa's event in hope to share her understanding of the ever Purest
Baerinika's testaments and things that Baerinika had shared with Zetnava in the past.
For the first tale about a squire who has fallen to the dark due to various factors,
Zetnava shared that there will be many things that challenges us or tempts us to stray
from the path that we have dedicated ourselves to. Be it words or actions by people who
we call allies or foes, we must maintain our determination and hold our faith steadfast.

For the second tale about a Light was deemed unworthy of being the Light for sacrificing
an innocent Light in order to kill a wicked. Zetnava shared the words of Baerinika,
Combat, Morality and Determination. A Light's life is more important than the death of
a wicked. Zetnava shared that one is free to make their own decision but must accept
that all decisions come with consequences. While making decisions, an important factor
to consider would be the Purity of choice taken.

For the third tale about a Light who have doubts on the path that they once decided on
upon meeting the younglings of a goblin. Zetnava shared that it takes courage to take
the first step and determination to continue moving on. Ruthless as what others had
mentioned about Zetnava, but she is no acolyte or maran. She is not here to offer others
redemption to the wicked. Zetnava fights for Thar-Eris while at the same time cleanse
and feed the wicked to Thar-Eris.

In this garden there are many lifeforms, plants, animals and beings. When one sees a weed
one do not hesitate to remove it in order for the garden to bloom. After the event,
Zetnava contemplates on her path and decisions. She maintained at her dedicated path,
Thar-Eris must be fed, the garden must be nurtured and the weed must be removed.

Understanding of Baerinika's Testaments

Being courageous does not necessary mean to charge to fight at all times. One needs to know
when to pick up fight and when not to. Zetnava feels that recklessness is an act that one
should not act upon, as often, it would result in negative impact and outcome. Though that
does not mean that one should shy away from fighting in what they believe in. It is not easy
for one to step forth to do what they believe is right, having the will is one matter but
willing to take action is the most important thing. The first step is the most important.

Combat is not simply a fight of supplications and fists. It is also the struggles and challenges
that one faces in life and how one overcomes them. One may choose to cower and hide from
the struggles and challenges in life, but it is only by facing and overcoming them, which
will result in one becoming a stronger person and perhaps a beacon for others to look up to.

While one seeks to excel in life, purpose and objective, there are many ways for it to happen.
One may resort to underhanded means or by means of honesty, forthright and righteous. There
is heavy consideration and factors within one's personality and character, including choices
and decisions made. It is often said that one's action reflects on themselves and it only
takes one sinful act to make a person impure.

While one dedicate themselves to objectives and purposes, it is very important that one do
not become over-zealous which often result in harm brought to the people around. That would
only means that one's purity of actions has been betrayed. One must be alert at all times,
and carry out frequently contemplation in order not stray from their path. When making
decisions and choosing options, one have to ensure the decision and choice made, does not
go against their faith and belief, purpose and objective, dedication.

It takes one to have the courage to dedicate and face the struggles and challenges in one's
chosen purposes and objectives while ensuring that one do not stray from their path or choose
a wrong path leading to the harm of Light.

Chapter 12

Of Ever Purest Baerinika, Emotions, Dedication

Of recent conversation with ever Purest Baerinika, Zetnava confessed her feelings for the
Goddess but also stated that she needs to sort out what kind of love she holds within her
heart for the Goddess. Is it a companionship love, puppy love, admiration love or simply
love. Both spoke about fear and Zetnava admitted that she fear that one day the ever Purest
Baerinika will refuse to walk with her. Zetnava was extremely glad and a sign of relieve
can be seen as the Goddess mentioned that She will walk with Zetnava all the way. Once again
even though it may just be a mmaner of speech, Zetnava is touched.

Zetnava shared with the Goddess about the bloodshed of a reaver and the encounter with
Cardinal Valarien. When speaking about the Cardinal, the ever Purest Baerinika held her
spear tightly ready to defend the Cardinal. One cannot deny that Zetnava was slightly
jealous, but that was only for a slight moment. She realized that ever Purest Baerinika would
stand by all Her earnest followers, an act that touched Zetnava deeply and the slight
jealousy was soon forgotten. The ever Purest Baerinika mentioned on how the Ancient One
Ergush would think when Zetnava, one hopefully to become a worthy candidate of being the
Sunwarden, is openly hunting the Reavers. Zetnava mentioned that she expected the Ancient One
to be furious but she has decided to walk this path, and will not turn from it. The boundary
was set in respect to the Ancients and Zetnava believes that all is free to decide and act
while carrying the consequences that comes with it. A survival of the fittest.

Before the conversation ended, the ever Purest Baerinika questioned Zetnava about her
shaman guild training. Zetnava mentioned that she hopes to become a symbol of the champion
of life. Where one lives life to the fullest, fulfilling their dedications and purposes
to upmost capability. That is when one says they are a champion of their life. After the
conversation ended, Zetnava thought further about how she feels for the ever Purest Baerinika.
Zetnava realized what she feels for the Goddess is pure love that cannot be classified under
any type. It is simply love and Zetnava would be filled with bliss and satisfaction be it
the Goddess walking by her side or her walking by the Goddess's side. Zetnava hopes when
her time comes, the ever Purest Baerinika would allow her to stay within the Misty Ruins to
remain by the Goddess's side for eternity.

Chapter 11

No negatation when Purity is at Stake

This day, a reaver by the name of Mahrah murdered two Fortress Squires by the name of Jhaeren
and Tethnaruuk. The reaver offered a helm of brilliance and an elven blade by the name of
Amathylar to Zetnava. Zetnava rejected both offers upfront and stood firm on her decision.

Upon returning to the refuge, Zetnava found the elven blade within the hollow, swiftly she
picked it up and delivered it back to the Fortress, despite not knowing who the owner was.
Later, she was informed that the previous wielder was Jhaeren, the same elven thief that
was fed to Thar-Eris by Mahrah.

When Zetnava reached the Fortress to return the elven blade, she was met by the Cardinal
Valarien. Valarien questioned Zetnava as to why she did not wield the blade herself, since it is
merely a tool of war. Zetnava explained that it would be a vile act of greed to accept gifts
from a reaver even though it is merely a trinket. The virtue of acceptance would mean the
acceptance and toleration of Mahrah's actions. Valarien further questioned Zetnava, would that
not be the same for Jhaeren who would receive the blade? Zetnava felt puzzled. Clearly it
would not be the same, as returning the blade would not be at all similar to accepting a gift
from one with such a vile heart, such as Mahrah's. Secondly, Jhaeren was the previous owner of the
blade from which Mahrah had stolen. Returning it to the rightful owner cannot be compared to
Zetnava accepting the blade from Mahrah in any way. Breaking one's virtue to accept a gift from
the reavers is vile act in itself that Zetnava refused to perform. Zetnava was unable to understand
why the Cardinal had asked the questions without thinking through the consequences or questioning
the virtue when accepting such a gift from the likes of Mahrah.

Zetnava insisted and handed over the blade to Valarien and trusted it to be given back to
Jhaeren and left the Fortress swiftly. Thinking to herself that the Fortress folk can decide
what to do with it, but she has no desire to accept any favors from the reavers. There is
no space in negotiation when one's purity is at stake.

Where does the heart lead?

Having spoken to the ever Purest Baerinika, Zetnava is determined to do what she can to
help the Warden branch grow and bloom. Once again the words from Baerinika, " I will walk
with you. " touched Zetnava's heart deeply, it is as if she has found her soulmate, her
desired lifelong companion. Zetnava thinks fondly of the ever Purest Baerinika, the wise,
the straight forward speaking yet objective Baerinika, a beautiful teacher and huntress.

Zetnava starts to wonder if her feeling for Baerinika is real. Whether it is pure admiration
or it is more than that. Whatever it is, Zetnava has to slowly figure that out and time will
help her understand herself better. It is a matter of heart and emotion, where one should not
make haste conclusion.

The Shadowed Sun

Finding home within the refuge consist of a mix emotions within Zetnava. She finds comfort
in having another place call home beside the Misty Jungle. While at the same time, she is
saddened by the vasts number of nightreavers within the shadows of the Tree. With the passing
of the late Harbinger Mojabosombo, a new Harbinger by the name of Rinn has been named. Yet
there is no new Sunwarden and from what Zetnava observes, it is highly possible due to the
lack of Wardens in the refuge.

Something must be done so that the Sun can shine so bright that there are no shadows within
the Tree for the wicked ones to hide. Since there is a lack of candidate within the branch
of Wardens, Zetnava will do what she can to be worthy of becoming a Sunwarden, in hope to
attract more Warden fighters for Thar-Eris and to diminish/weaken the Nightreavers domination
within the Refuge.

Chapter 8

Combat, Morality and Determination

The previous conversation with the Purest ever Baerinika, Zetnava was tasked to contemplate
on her fight to defend Thar-Eris as a Warden while there are Nightreavers within the refuge.
A contemplate about Combat, Morality and Determination of her path as a follower of Baerinika
and as a Warden.

Zetnava recognizes that it will not be an easy battle as the result is clear, that no matter
what Zetnava does, she will not be able to change the fact that Dark Ancients exists and so
will the Nightreavers. But that does not mean that she would not nothing about them. As
previously mentioned, a balance is necessary. She will not hunt the Nightreavers within the
Eastern Continent where the Refuge is located. One would say, she had then created a sanctuary
for those Nightreavers, but Zetnava feels that it is the minimum she should do, in due respect
to the other Ancients in the refuge. That may change in the future, but for now, this is where
she has decided to draw the boundary.

Where Morality is concern, it is only a fine line where one from the Light falls to the Dark.
Zetnava has drawn the line clear, to strengthen the Sun and Goodness within the refuge while
attempting to weaken the dark by hunting them. Clearly that would not be enough. In order for
her not to harm any of the Light by accident, she will not become a criminal by choice. It is
indeed true that she is free to make decisions and live freely, though that should not be of
consequences that would result in the Light being harmed. Beside defending the Refuge, Zetnava
restricts herself from being near any of the Nightreavers, including raiding, retrieving and
hunting situations. Zetnava would not kill any of the Light, even the dwarves, azure-touch,
or Tribunal Magistrates, that is another commitment she makes. She would defend the Refuge
should any of the Light comes, but will attempt to discourage them in harming the refuge
Huntress. Being a Warden, a beacon of Light of Thar-Eris, one should at least know when to
withhold their powress.

With such self imposed restrictions, Zetnava aims to achieve them with strong discipline and
determination. Dedication is a long journey, where only at the end of one's life, would one
be judged whether they have fully dedicated themselves to their purposes and objectives in life.

Chapter 7

Ear Studs

The number on Zetnava's ear loop represents the number of important woman in her life.
Currently she has four ear studs. The first represents the woman Gloria that brought her
into this world. Without Gloria, Zetnava would not have existed. A violating act and
sacrificial price that Gloria had to pay carries weight in Zetnava's heart.

The second represents Kili who brought Zetnava up. For one who is not blood-related,
Kili retreated Zetnava as her own daughter, even though Kili was strict but she had provided
what responsible parents would have provided to their children. Zetnava could not repay
Kili as Kili is no longer in the mortal world, so what Zetnava can do is to heed Kili's
final words to her best effort.

The third represents Thar-Eris, the mother of this land and world. Without her miracle,
the Source of Life well would not have existed, so wouldn't have Zetnava and many others.
The graciousness of Thar-Eris that granted life should be protected and hopefully restored.

The fourth represents the Purest existence ever, Baerinika. The jaguar constellation brought
Zetnava to Baerinika and after speaking with the Goddess earnestly, Zetnava is aware of
the balance that is required between Baerinika and Thar-Eris. She has no desire to fail
either and would do her best to fulfill her dedication to both because both are equally
important in her heart. Baerinika mentioned a statement struck Zetnava's with heavy impact.
The Goddess said " I will walk with you. ". A statement that no one has ever said to
Zetnava.

Combat, Courage, Purity and Dedication

A chance was given by the purest Goddess Baerinika, allowing Zetnava to prove herself.
As what Zetnava had mentioned, it takes one to have the courage to dedicate themselves
to fight for that they believe in, in no means of carrying out sins. Zetnava believes
to revive Thar-Eris, destroying the man made Laws are necessary. Those laws are the
factor that are protecting wicked shadows and Empire is the best example.

As what the purest Goddess had mentioned, there are wicked shadows - Reavers within the
refuge. The conversation with the Goddess ended with Her mentioning about Combat,
morality and determination.

Zetnava responded to the purest Goddess that when the Light shines so bright, that there
will not be any shadows even in the refuge for the wicked to hide. Within the refuge,
Zetvana will not strike those of the reavers but outside of it, they will be treated like
any other. It is a thin path that Zetnava walks on, one that either she fails the purest
Goddess or risk having the dark ancients' striking her, all in which while carrying out
the revival of Thar-Eris. Zetnava has dedicated herself to the purest Goddess, thus
be it risking the wrath of the dark ancients, she will continue to walk on this thin path.

Constellation in the Sky

While looking up into the sky, Zetnava saw a clear constellation in the form of a
jaguar. Curious on what the jaguar represents, she discovered about the Goddess
by the name of Baerinika. Baerinika symbolized the virtues of one's battle in
beliefs, commitment and earnesty. Zetnava feels incline in the beliefs taught
by Baerinika and Zetnava feels an attachment to where Baerinika resides which is
within misty jungle. She feels that is where she wants to be and belong to. Learning
what she could about Baerinika, Zetnava starts to adhere herself to the ways of
Baerinika's teachings.

Live Free

As Zetnava stepped out of the misty jungle, she found herself in an academy where
she found out of various forces in Thera. Live free as what Kili had said, Zetnava
find herself inclined to discover more the forces by the name of Outlanders.
Zetnava feels that the way of Life seems to be much closer to what she had before
back at the tribe. Unbound by any man made laws, being able to live free while
protecting the land, water and air that suffices ones' basic needs. Thar-Eris
they called the land, instead of Thera. Thinking back, the Source of Life may
perhaps but a natural product of Thar-Eris. " I have been given and I believe I
should give back." is what Zetnava thought.

Zetnava's Secret/Death of Kili

Years passed and Zetnava is her teens where Kili had reached the end of her
lifespan. Kili requested to be alone with Zetnava during her last moments. Just
before Kili dies, in her dying breath she told Zetnava the secret of her birth.

Kili said: "My child, I may the mother who brought you up, but it is not I who
brought you into this world."

Kili said: "Your mother's name is Gloria and she has been exiled for breaking the
tribe rules."

Kili said: "Go look for your mother, live free like you always have but never
forget the importance of Life."

Kili said: "Should one day you find your lifelong partner, you may return to drink
from the well and have your own children."

Clouded with huge confusion, sadness and mix emotions, Zetnava weeped as she hugged
hugged Kili's lifeless body.

The inheritance tribe shamanka carried out the final ritual in sending off Kili but
Zetnava was nowhere present. Zetvana was at the river, looking at her reflection,
she wondered to herself " Who is the girl I see, staring straight back at me...".
Zetnava looks up, seeing the smoke from the cremation of Kili's remains, recalling
Kili's words, with no possession, she sets out on her journey.

Birth and Upbringing of Zetnava

One night after the daily festive bonfire, Gloria had too much a drink, was
too high and groggy from grape wine. She drank from awell to quench her thirst,
not noticing she had drank from the Source of Life. She lazed in dazed and
soon fell asleep next to the well. Deeds were not gone unfounded as she was
found pregnant. Being a single, she had no permission to drink from the Source
of Life. A trial had to be held and clearly Gloria was guilty for her actions
despite being intoxicated.

The verdict had been decided. While the life within Gloria was not guilty of
any actions, Gloria herself was to be exiled from the village never to get
in touch with the life she brought forth, Zetnava. It is cruel and inhumane to
leave a newborn to herself which another perspective would be disregarding the
life that Source had granted.

Zetnava was adopted by Kili the tribe shamanka also the elderess, who is single
as her lifelong partner had passed away. Yielding for another child, Zetnava was
a gift to Kili. As Kili had to manage the tribe, she was not able to focus on
Zetnava's upbringing, resulting Zetnava in causing trouble and carrying out
mischeif in order to get some attention. Often the punishment would be housebound
where Zetnava would watch Kili performing prayer rituals and manging tribal
matters.

Tribe beyond Misty Jungle

Past beyond the misty jungle north of Ashes of Nowhere, lies a tribe populated
with only women. Hidden away from society, the women lived peacefully among
themselves. The jungle provided the basic necessities in life; food, water and
shelter.

The women lived there were of all ages and races. One would wonder how this group
of women managed to continue renewing the population as the old ages. The secret
is a well. A well that impregnates anyone who drinks from it, be it animal, man
woman. This group of women named the well as the Source of Life. The water from
the Source of Life works in a miracle way despite newborn will only be female.
As the song would go;

First day you drink life,
Second day your tummy grows,
Third day you bring life.

There is a rule within the group, where only a committed couple are allowed to
drink from the well, so that proper child care will be provided.
