Description

It takes you a second longer than it normally would to recognize the woman
standing before you is a half-elf of some kind. It's almost impressive how
few features she manifests of her elven heritage. Beauty certainly did not
pass her by at birth, yet her confident gaze gives you a glimmer of a woman
unhinged from time to time. Her armament suggests that martial combat is a
regularity, and the quick sword access would solidify that. Her body is thick
and toned, but not fat by any means. Her hips are abnormally wide with thighs
to match, yet she still moves with a sultry grace. But, she certainly stands
with a sense of brash power.

Her mahogany hair is perfectly straight and cascades down falling right above
her shoulders. Perfectly rounded ears peek through the hair from time to time
as she moves about. Piercing amber eyes with turquoise flecks dart about her
surroundings, always looking, always aware. A slender nose comes to a rounded
tip as it sits above a plump set of pale pink lips that know how to move. Her
complexion is extremely tan, yet flawless with the darkened skin highlighting
a strip of freckles across her nose. She doesn't strike you for a performer,
but she keeps a drum at her side. Looking closer you also notice that...

Free At Last

*Tarla has had a seed of Rage artfully grown in her by Tristhana and other
members of the church of Morius. Tarla is terrified of a non mortal as her
tricks won't work. She awaits the day with apprehension they finally lock
eyes.

*In this Rage, Tarla has made quite a few poor decisions. One being smashing
a bottle of wine in Morius study. Though, she thinks she cleaned up all the
glass and soaked it up with her blouse before running out topless... she's
just accepted herself for the slut she is.

*Her words have been becoming more and more vulgar, and in her drunken
thrashing she has been too quick once or twice of misplaced accusations.

*As much as she likes to pretend like she's in charge, she craves domination.
She is thriving in the Empire purely out of obedience, having her boots tied,
and a few winks. She hopes to continue to please the War Master especially.

*She completed the contingency of her parole, and she has now become a
thriving hero in Thera and rehabilitated herself. The court has released her
from her sentence and no more chains of bondage are latched on any longer.

NO ONE is going to come take away her shit, her freedom, or her life. The
Empire says so.

Personality Traits

*Tarla knows even though won't admit it, but she likes women more than men
and it pisses her off pretty badly.

*She enjoys feeling taken care of though, and that's sadly usually when this
deviant broad feels the happiest and most affectionate.

*She is extremely forlorn when she doesn't have a drum. It's her desperate
wish to get her legendary Vhizhazi Darbuka back from wherever the elves hid
it. Though, she knows it was one of a kind and is likely gone forever.

*She sings Epic songs naturally, fitting her blunt and direct personality.
Coupled with the drums, she really can put out her own unique sound that's
oddly effective.

*She definitely likes to work the sexual angle to get what she wants. Many
would call her a whore. But, she certainly has class if you're objective
about it.

*From her business time with her tanner friend, Vhizhazi, Tarla had a great
desire to run her own business. As she settles into the Empire she envisions
running a bard service with rates. Delivering invoices. Then simply murdering
whoever doesn't pay.

*She is so possessive. She cannot stand anyone trying to take away her
things. She flies into rage where she doesn't rationalize well. She
politically thinks she can manage though... she thinks.

*Carli who frequents the Hamsah docks is one of her best friends. Tarla owes
a lot of her survival to oddjobs for Carli and eating well on salmon and
shrimp. Seafood is a secret key to her heart.

*She wants to become a hero as fast as possible to release the chains of the
law from her and move onto the next chapter of her life.. serving her soon to
be next Emperor or Empress....

..... darkness and order.

Beginnings Timeline - Part 2

*Elves. Fucking elves. Tarla's mother owed three hundred gold to a ferocious
lot from Voralia. Her home? Repossessed.. two hundred. Her beautiful drum?
Fifty. Everything else? Fifty. Blood debt repaid in full. Tarla, stripped to
nothing once more.

*Unable to handle the truth of this situation, in her immaturity she attacked
the goodly debt collectors who then leveraged their friends-in-places for a
full three year assault and battery conviction.

*Spending two years in a female only jail, Tarla finally was released on
parole with requirements to become orderly and join a guild of her choosing.
She would be released from parole in 5 years or if she became a hero of her
guild.

*To present day, Tarla decided there was no other option but to continue her
music career, so she joined the bards guild to mix her stout build and rough
voice on the drums to give her the best chance of success.

*Finding herself with nothing but a rattle and some fine leather, she saw the
Imperial Recruiter yelling all day long in the square. After talking at
length, she knew if she gave the Blood Oath... that she would have a home no
one could take away. She said the words without thinking twice. No one was
going to take her shit anymore.

Beginnings Timeline - Part 1

*Tarla knows nothing of drow father, unaware if she is even half elf or drow.
Mother human prostitute in Hamsah Mu'tazz, dies when Tarla was two.

*Tarla runs away from orphanage at nine taking only the nickname "Maes" that
she knew of her Mother as her only birth identity. A few years pass as a
street rat, scraping to survive the desert city.

*She accepts a job from a tanner on the outskirts of Hamsah that made drums
that gave her free board for a full year and a drum of her choice at the end.
She knew these quality drums were astounding and that would be her trade.

*Completing her year, she learned many tricks and trades that some might call
evil from her unassuming tanner friend. She became very business savvy from
this. Afterward, she dedicated herself full time to learning the rhythm of
her drum in the streets of Hamsah.

*She became well known in the city as her skills improved, she had a sultry
charisma that made you want to smile at her. Drumming day and night she saved
up enough to buy her own home in the city. Tarla had big plans to become the
feature performer.

But, this unfortunate half breed... after working so hard to become something
was met with a knock at her door the first week of owning her new home. Her
true touches of rage began there...
