Life, Destiny, Will.

It is unknown who Ganeteri parents are or what his purpose in life is. He was
passed among so many surrogate parents, much like the majority of children in
his community, that it would be diffacult for anyone to truely find the
source of his life. That is, if any in the community even desired to do so.
The community was one of gnomish inventors and scholars, spending all their
time pondering and theorizing whatever they can. So much time was spent doing
this that what children they had were from necessity and done at times
specified to each individual just to keep the society with inhabitants. No
true families existed, only the society as a whole seeking what they may.
Often the new children were used as experiments too and Ganeteri may perhaps
be one of these, considering the mark upon his forehead. Whether or not he
was a success or not may never be known, though he always did have a better
sense for the elements than many of the other young students. He quickly
became bored with the limited aspects avaible to him at his current place of
occupancy and as such went out to seek his own way, his own knowledge, and
his own life. Few ever actually left the sanctitude of the underground
community, and any who actually did were forever changed. Societies and life
was much differant on the outside. There was emotions and notions of good and
evil. Both love and hate, sorrow and joy were brought into the equation. Life
and death was an accepted part of life within the community, but outside,
life was a fragile thing held onto and cherrished by all who lived, whether
claiming good or evil. Such a society changed Ganeteri as he continued to
study in the guild in invokers in Galadon, he became aware that there was
more than himself in this world. Chaos and disorder ran rampant in the world,
crime and pre-mature death a norm. While thoughts of good and evil bothered
Ganeteri little to none, the thought of chaos in the world shook him to his
core. So structured and orderly was the community he came from, patterns set
and acceptable behavior the norm. Here, though, in the rest of the world
there was no such thing. Laws were disobeyed and crime left unchecked. There
were those who fought to protect what little they can, in some of the more
major cities, but even within these was strife with those who still clung to
the notions of good and evil letting such absurdities control their actions.
For the first time in his life, Ganeteri felt the need to be more than a
scholar and more than a student. He felt the need to actively participate in
the world, the desire to put into effect that which he desired. Order was so
ingrained into his being that his body shouted for action against the chaos
which he so disdained. While he can understand that certain aspects of chaos
were needed in life, the amount of it present was alarming to him and even
more dangerous was the lack of balance in those who were needed to contain
it. Perhaps this was the order of things in life, his destiny to be an
executioner of Balance within Order, a judicial authority not swayed by the
varied politics of the inferno and heavens, but a true unbiased ambassador
of Law and Order. A Blood Tribunal of unquestionable character and reason.
It made sense to this little gnome, and so he set out to make it
