Dhrak the Captain of the Grinning Skulls

Description

An ugly creature covered in filth, this orc before you snarls and sneers at
the slightest provocation. Nearly three meters tall, he towers above many of
the normal orcs. Crooked tusks jut from the corner of his mouth. Malformed
ears with fuzzy hair shooting out of them crown the corners of his head.
Muscular and rotund, he appears to move slowly and purposefully. Similar to a
large ape, his dark charcoal hair shoots out at odd angles from around his
head. When he speaks, spittle often flies from his mouth. On his shoulder, is
a crude marking with the words 'PropERTy of XxxXX, abalABle for LEasE'.
Roughly etched under this marking is the crude etching 'dApheeDee'.

Dhrak stares at the empty throne, sitting in the background of the Skull
village. His eyes glaze over as the din of the ritual begins, and various
orcs begin to gather. Muffled silence rings in his ears, and visions of
demons waiting to be slaughtered fill his head. He drops his claw, and heads
towards the throne, as confused orcs look towards each other.


Reaching the throne, he takes his sword, and quickly falls on it. Orcs rush
towards him, and all seem to notice an evil grin upon his face.

Part TWO

Eventually Dhrak found the village of Skulls, lead by the powerful Chieftain
Tegerek Angerhand. The hand of fate had suddenly granted Dhrak favor, for he
would learn much from the great Chief Tegerek.


Chief Tegerek taught Dhrak a great number of things about the ways of a
powerful Orc. How to fight, how to forage, and many other things. Dhrak was
appreciative, and therefore loyal.


Slow to learn, slow to write, and slow to read, it took Dhrak nearly fifty
years before he could put thoughts to words. He intends to learn more of the
lands, to attune his fighting abilities, and further the power of his clan.

Chapter 1

Part ONE
Added Fri Feb 28 20:17:26 2020 at level 50:

Dhrak was born in the northern plains of Thera, while slaves were being
transported from the north. Unable to deal with newborn orcs, the
slavemasters sold Dhrak to a group of Mystics. This abandonment was the
origin of Dhrak's intense rage.


Frustrated by the passive nature of the mystics, Dhrak escaped one night.
Fighting to survive the harsh realities of Thera, he found that his anger
could be useful for suvival, and allowed his rage to grow.


Looking to become stronger, he decided to look for other Orcs to band with.
Strength lies with numbers, he determined.


Misadventures like being sold to the immortal with no name, and then resold
(after being deemed broken) to the Elven god Daphedee would have broken
lesser Orcs. Dhrak just let these setbacks further fuel his rage. Even the
curse of a blood allergy, the worst possible curse for an orc, would not
break Dhrak. He just allowed it fuel the growth of his rage.
